PUNKY MEADOWS RELEASES NEW VIDEO, AND SINGLE, FEATURING FRANK DIMINO AND FELIX ROBINSON OF ANGEL

Punky Meadows is from one of the most striking Hard Rock band of the 70’s, Angel, and on September 18th, Punky Meadows will release the new single, “Lost And Lonely.”

The track features three members of Angel – guitarist Punky Meadows, vocalist Frank Dimino, and bassist Felix Robinson, as well as Punky’s band members Danny Farrow, Charlie Calv and Bob Pantella, who all performed on the song. They also filmed a brand-new video at The Chance Theatre in New York for the song, in which it is the first time since 1980 that three members of Angel appear together in a music video. Watch the clip, below.

The tune can be ordered at iTunes, by clicking here.

“Man, we had such a great time shooting our latest video with Frank, Felix and the guys,” says Punky. “Danny and I talked about doing this video for a while. We thought it would be something special for not only the fans of my band, but for the many Angel fans as well. Frank really delivered on this track, and the whole band kicked ass!!!”

i was one of those people who loved angel from the get go , I had the pleasure of meeting punky, frank ,and greg back in 78 or 79 he could not have been cooler , greg and I actually had on the exact same coat lol – I have a couple of really great stories but I will keep my mouth shut lol ! I really like this song the chorus is very catchy – after seeing this, the 3 of them together, it seems an angel reunion could happen, if they were all into it? even if just a few shows , I heard maybe in japan????

I really enjoyed this song! I don’t know if this video is a tease of an Angel reunion, but i guess i can hope! I thought Dimino’s voice sounded great!

I’ve learned to appreciate Punky’s guitar playing, but he was more influential in his “look” rather than his guitar skills…..

It’s straight out the 70s playbook but it still sounds fresh….and Frank is so cool here without even trying….lol…I bet the Angel fans are freaking out.. 🙂

Damn good! Very much like “White Hot” era Angel!

I like the song, and recognize Rob from Monster Magnet/Atomic Bitch Wax on drums. The mature woman on Guitar reminds me of Maude. Joking aside, I appreciate melodic song writing, and this isn’t bad at all.
