NOLA.com posted a feature article about Ozzy Osbourne on October 27th. In the piece Osbourne stated that Black Sabbath have decided against recording another album, making 2013’s, 13, their last.
The singer said, “It’s the end of Sabbath, believe me.” He continued, “In December, I’ll be f——‘ 68 and I think it’s time to call it the end of the day. I’m not saying I won’t get on stage with Geezer or Tony (Iommi) or any of them some time, but officially we’re going to be done…I don’t want it to dwindle and dwindle and play just for the sake of making another f——‘ sack full of cash. So it’s time, and then I’ll go back to doing my own thing.”

Sharon says touch your nose and lips.
I was planning for the Tacoma show, but since they added Ridgefield. WA which is a quick freeway ride from Portland, I’m all in , tickets on sale Oct. 31. What a long strange trip it’s been, and believe me, I was there at the very beginning, in 1970, when I purchased Black Sabbath (first album) without ever having heard the band, just because there was a witch on the cover.
I got tickets yesterday for the Oakland CA show next September…a long way off LOL. Hope they all make it!
None of us will ever understand the inner workings of how a group with the legacy of Black Sabbath can really go out without one of its founding members. Obviously there is 3 sides to this story, Do the right fucking thing and get Bill behind the kit for the last hurrah. If not, you are still getting a “sack full of cash” to deprive your fans (the ones that pay you) of a final goodbye with the band intact. Better yet, just say goodbye without the tour, if you don’t really need or want that sack of cash!!
Greg, bro, Bill can’t do it anymore, let’s face the fact. If he can play one last show with them, say the last show of the tour or one final show in Birmingham that would be good for me. I’m hoping the original Sabbath can play at least one show on the tour, if not, at least i’ll be able to see the masters my one and only time (w/Ozzy) at MSG in February.
