  1. I pre ordered the cd version. Ace. Talk To Me. Sold. I do hope there are vintage original band shows up for release, hopefully ones no one has on actual bootleg. Or, cleaned up versions of favorites like Stoned In Paris, Fried Alive, Destroys Anaheim, the Michigan Palace FM broadcast from 74, etc. How about this: a 2 disc set of a Destroyer show, and disc 2 the Destroyer rehearsals/demos? The versions out there sound awful. All in all, this idea is a good one, it’s nice to look forward to Kiss live concerts.

  2. I know there are bootlegs out there, but I would love to have releases featuring the Carr/Frehley and Carr/Vincent lineups. The later may never happen due to obvious reasons.

  3. Medved, although I favor the original lineup, it would certainly be nice to see them put out soundboards from those eras, especially Creatures. We all love Eric Carr, how about the Palladium show from 1980? And just for archival and collection reasons, dare I say it, something from the Asylum tour. The Creatures and Asylum tours seem to be swept under the rug, and I don’t think Vinnie has any right to sue over recordings with him on them, he never signed his contract. It’s Gene and Paul who own all rights, I would imagine.

  4. @Shannon: Didn’t know this platform requires objectivity like CNN. I’m entitled to my opinions just like you are. And who anointed you as the arbiter of what is deemed serious or non-serious? I scoff at your KISS fandom, and your weak Dr. Phil guru lingo about “art” and “living in the present.” We are arguing over grown men who wear make up. No one has seen the doc yet, so how does anyone know if it has something or nothing to offer? With this web site it’s always the same four guys posting the same ole rants.

  5. @Dana: “CNN…” that’s me being a smart a**. Shannon and Doug are mostly right to not take me seriously. The only thing I’m serious about is my love for KISS, and that includes all line ups!

    1. My comment about art and living in the present is from philosophy, not any psychology or Freud. Maybe think about what I said instead of just dismissing it.
