KISS’ MANAGER SAYS FRONTMAN PAUL STANLEY DOES “NOT LIP SYNCH” WHEN THE BAND IS PERFORMING LIVE
KISS manager Doc McGhee spoke with Syncin’ Stanley regarding the band, being accused of lip synching, during live performances.
McGhee said (as per blabbermouth.net), “[Paul Stanley] sings every track. So he sings to it. So he’s not lip syncing. He fully sings. It’s enhanced. It’s just part of the process to make sure that everybody hears the songs the way they should be sang to begin with. Nobody wants to hear people do stuff that’s not real, that’s not what they came to hear.”
When asked to clarify if [Stanley] is “actually saying there are backing tracks that [he is] singing to,” Doc said, “He’ll sing to tracks. It’s all part of a process. Because everybody wants to hear everybody sing. But he fully sings to every song.”
Reportedly, after KISS played on NBC‘s “America’s Got Talent” in September 2018, Stanley was asked by Rolling Stone if that was actually a live performance or if he and his bandmates tracked it earlier. “What you tend to do is record it live and that way you know that everything is as it should be,” he responded. “It’s not like going into the studio or anything like that. It’s…with all its imperfections, it’s live.”

They stopped being a viable credible rock and roll band they day paul lost his once magficent voice , paul soon became a parody of himself with his cringeworthy inane and awful stage banter which he feels he still has to shout….. not to mention the wig over the top of his other wig … ?? hopefully he’s not wearing both at the same time …? Then the painfully obvious lip syncing -at this point you have to be completely brain dead if you think he is singing anything past the first verse of detroit rock city which he barely croaks out to sell the fraud, please kiss I’m begging you …stop

At the beginning of each show, like I saw on my mom’s old soap opera shows, “The part of the Demon and Starchild will be played by the Real Ace Frehley and the Real Peter Criss.”
Well, over the last 20 years, Gene and Paul have become really good at faking alot of things – band members, Paul’s voice, and especially their hair!
Frehley’s current singer sounds a lot like Paul Stanley. To me this is closer to seeing Kiss than actually seeing Kiss. I’m sure Eddie has seen Ace play in the past year and would be curious to know his thoughts on this.
