KISS’ MANAGER SAYS FRONTMAN PAUL STANLEY DOES “NOT LIP SYNCH” WHEN THE BAND IS PERFORMING LIVE

KISS manager Doc McGhee spoke with  Syncin’ Stanley regarding the band, being accused of lip synching, during live performances.

McGhee said (as per blabbermouth.net), “[Paul Stanley] sings every track. So he sings to it. So he’s not lip syncing. He fully sings. It’s enhanced. It’s just part of the process to make sure that everybody hears the songs the way they should be sang to begin with. Nobody wants to hear people do stuff that’s not real, that’s not what they came to hear.”

When asked to clarify if [Stanley] is “actually saying there are backing tracks that [he is] singing to,” Doc said, “He’ll sing to tracks. It’s all part of a process. Because everybody wants to hear everybody sing. But he fully sings to every song.”

Reportedly, after KISS played on NBC‘s “America’s Got Talent” in September 2018, Stanley was asked by Rolling Stone if that was actually a live performance or if he and his bandmates tracked it earlier. “What you tend to do is record it live and that way you know that everything is as it should be,” he responded. “It’s not like going into the studio or anything like that. It’s…with all its imperfections, it’s live.”

  1. Really …. they have zero respect for their fans , and I have zero respect for these idiots , you would think doc would know better …. hey doc how do you enhance your integrity??

  2. We all know that’s a bunch of crap. He can barely speak vocals. Just look at footage before this tour. He’s miming. You cannot convince me otherwise. He wouldn’t be able to talk if he sang to every song track, every night, for hundreds of shows. It isn’t happening. He’s lip synching. Doc McGhee is lying.

  3. Well, I guess McGhee will be fired soon for letting one of the worst kept secrets officially out of the bag.

So sad how a member of my favorite all time band (the original KI$$) embarasses himself and the legacy of his once great band.

    1. Rattle,

We know that these awards are rigged, additionally, people with recognizable names, tend to get the votes (like a popularity contest).

Does this mean Osbourne’s album wasn’t deserving of the award, or that he received a pity vote? Not necessarily. however, it was exposed by one of the former CEO’s of NARAS, Deborah Dugan, as well as, some of the artists themselves, that the votes are rigged.

As a matter of fact, there was a lawsuit filed by Ms. Dugan, who exposed the scam, and was “put on administrative leave.” The litigation was originally set for open arbitration, but as reported, “the organization was instead taking measures to keep the arbitration private. With the arbitration date approaching, both sides reached an agreement to avoid any further exposure of the Recording Academy’s practices.”

Really, wonder why?? (cue the eye roll).

  4. Hahahaha what a joke. These guys, OMG! The lies and b.s. that has come out of the mouths of Gene and Paul over the years has been over the top. But this one takes the grand prize. Holy hell man, holy hell hahaha
