KISS GUITARISTS ACE FREHLEY AND VINNIE VINCENT SCHEDULED TO APPEAR AT CREATURES FEST IN NASHVILLE

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, and former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent, are reportedly set to appear at the Creatures Fest 2022, scheduled to take place Memorial Day Weekend, May 27th-29th, in Nashville, Tennessee. Other performers also reported to perform are VixenQuiet RiotEnuff Z’NuffJohn CorabiReturn Of The Comet and Pretty Boy Floyd. More detailed information, including tickets and host hotel, will be made available in early January 2022.

Vincent’s last live appearance took place on August 10th, 2019, at S.I.R. Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The guitarist celebrated his 67th birthday where fans witnessed “six hours of stories, music, photos and fun.”

As for Frehley, he told our very own Eddie Trunk in terms of reuniting with his former KISS bandmates, “Anything’s possible — I’ve always said that…I’m on good terms with Paul [Stanley, guitar/vocals] and Gene [Simmons, bass/vocals], which is nice, because we created something really special in the early ’70s that has outlasted so many other bands. And God bless ’em. They’re still doing it; I’m still doing it. Peter [Criss, drums] is still around. I’m not quite sure why Peter hadn’t toured over the years as much as I have, but it is what it is.”

  1. Just saw Alice Cooper with Ace a couple months ago. It was a great show. Ace didn’t do anything from Frehley’s Comet except for the song Rip It Out. He mostly did Kiss stuff including Detroit Rock City. His singer for the Paul Stanley vocal stuff was spot on. He really sounds like Paul. If you can find some video check it out. I think Ace may be sending Kiss a message that his band can play those songs better than they can.

    1. yeah Ace brings it when he plays live!! He does not mess around! And he knows how to get that great sound from his band too! A lot of the older bands cant do that anymore live. Backtracking or recordings we get. I saw him a few years ago and it was my one of my top ten favorite shows of all time. Its funny how some band split there earning equally. They know they cant take it with them ha! Other bands just get the greed bug. Kiss, Ozzy. The stories seem to be endless with their greed and screwing their fellow band members.

  2. It seems to me that Ace has been re-auditioning to get back in KISS for the past decade. He has offered numerous olive branches to Gene and Paul, recorded material with them, has been decently prolific in releasing original material and touring, and he continually shows he can still play the KISS material. I think it is a huge flaw in Gene and Paul’s character that they will not forgive Ace and let him back in the band. But, I know that Gene and Paul believe Ace has used up all his forgiveness chances. Who suffers from this stubbornness? WE, the fans. As much as I appreciate what Tommy has done for the band, every older KISS fan wants Ace back in the band. And I imagine we would like some sort of forgiveness for VV, too, so they can all collaborate on something again.

    1. Yes, it would be great to have the Spaceman back in KI⚡⚡ for one more run, and the Catman as well! Us dinosaurs would love to see that 😉 but I just don’t think Peter could physically handle more than a few shows here and there. A residency with no more than 3 shows a week, he might be able to handle that, after all he is 76 years old.

    2. It all has to do with money and make-up. Nothing more. If an agreement can be reached then it will happen. This nonsense that Paul and Gene are preventing Ace from joining the band is inaccurate.

  3. Regarding ace and kiss , paul and gene are 100 % preventing, and not wanting ace back , or pete for that matter – they will never pay ace what he asks for , and to them petes too old to even consider , also having ace and Pete back nullifies paul and genes sales/branding position that it’s about the iconic characters they created not the person wearing the make up , that’s been their immovable rationale since Tommy and Eric put on ace and petes make up – they will never allow them back in the band until possibly the last ever show and I mean the very last , even then I think the odds are slim to none ~

  4. I wouldn’t mind knowing what Vinnie has been up to for the last 20 years. Bigfoot made more public appearances than him. I thought maybe he and Vito Bratta retreated to an ashram in India. Joking aside, when Vinnie was in the band, he co-wrote a lot of their material and even Gene and Paul admit that.
