The set list is just fine. These guys aren’t I their 30’s anymore….And I will be in Rochester for this show….CANT WAIT
They opened with Solar Angels on the Point of Entry tour.
as a loyal fan since the days of the capitol theatre, asbury park, pier 84, halford when he had long hair and make up.the motorcycle, the whip, and yes the uzi. i miss the uzi after they played the song Genocide. everyone stop whining and be thankful they are still playing. there are not many real rock and rollers left. enjoy! peace.
I was at the show and I was very impressed with the band’s sound and Halford’s vocals–they delivered an outstanding set.
My problem was with the venue and it’s lack of communication with the audience. The ticket states “6:00 pm Doors” and the website listed a 7:00 pm start but when we waited and waited and we started to hear the same music a second time around, people got fed up and they started to boo and throw cups of beer. Not once did anyone from the venue address the crowd.
Now you had some Panther fans and a ton of Priest fans and the longer we waited the more agitated people got and the more inebriated they became. By the time Priest took the stage people had been drinking for 4+ hours–not cool.
There was plenty of fights and security did little to stop it (except for one altercation that got ugly). If the show had started any later it could really have gotten out of control.
Steel Panther was funny, Judas Priest delivered and Redeemers is the best metal album of 2014 (so far but I doubt anyone will beat it).
Great show tonight! Priest was awesome. Steel Panther just tore it up, like usual! Great pairing!
