  1. That’s a great set. The biggest omission, to me at least, is Hellion/Electric Eye. Would like to have Heading Out To The Highway, Painkiller maybe even something from the Sin After Sin album but I’m not complaining. It has to be ridiculously hard to put a set list together with the massive amount of great songs they have. I like it that they’re playing Jawbreaker and ending with Heavy Duty/Defenders of the Faith (Heavy Duty isn’t listed but we all know it’s part of that combo). And Beyond The Realms Of Death one of the greatest songs Priest has ever written, so glad to see that in the set. And some people may not like it but I think it’s cool that they open with Dragonaut. They have a great new album to promote so why not open with a new song? I LOVE JUDAS PRIEST! MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME!!! My top 10 Priest albums from 1-10 are: Screaming For Vengeance, Stained Class, Sin After Sin, Hell Bent For Leather, Point Of Entry, British Steel, Defenders Of The Faith, Painkiller, Redeemer Of Souls, Sad Wings Of Destiny.

  2. I would have picked Bloodstone – it’s such a killer tune. Tricky with a band like Judas Priest that has so much great material to choose from. I would never get tired of Hellion/Electric Eye and I also like their version of Green Manalishi very much. I kind of miss the old days when you didn’t know anything about the show or setlists until it came to your town. Just by peaking at this, I have ruined any surprise when they come around. I’ve done this with many tours over the last 10 years or so and it definitely takes away from the concert experience and not knowing what’s coming up.
    I know, it’s my fault, don’t click, but I can’t resist.

    1. Clarence,

I completely agree. Bloodstone is an amazing song and one of my all time favorites (although, I admit to having many Priest favorites). One song from Screaming that I have never heard live, and would love to hear, would be Fever. Desert Plains might be a good one to bring out again as well. 🙂

    2. Totally agree Dana! Desert Plains was a staple for years…and Heading out to the Highway! Two of my all time favorites. Most people hated Point of Entry, but I LOVED it! I love the set list. Certainly digging some different tunes like Devil’s Child and Jawbreaker, which I have never heard live. I could have replaced Jawbreaker with The Sentinel…but I am not complaining!

    3. Yes, they have such a great catalog of music. I was so excited to see them perform You Don’t Have To Be Old To Be Wise on the 30th anniversary of the British Steel tour. Another hidden gem as far as I am concerned.

Now, if they toured and played Screaming For Vengeance front to back, that would be a dream come true for me.

      D 🙂

    4. Fever?? Absolutely great song!!! I would love to hear that vs metal gods for the millionth time. To me, that song immediately kills any momentum. To have it as a second song is lame. How about Thd Sentinel as the second? One, two, right in the face??! Obscure track?? Reckless!! Seeing them in CT next Saturday. Fng schweet.

    5. Oh yeah, Fever would be awesome! Always has been one of my favorite Priest deep tracks.
