Guns N’ Roses are set to release their Appetite for Democracy 3D on DVD/Blu-Ray on July 1st (previously reported as July 18th). The band has released a clip of Sweet Child O’ Mine which can be viewed below and only available for the next 24 hours.
The live film debuted in theaters back on June 14th, screened in one hundred different cities.
“It’s been 22 years since the last GNR concert release and I’m very proud to have been chosen to produce this amazing 3D concert film/new DVD release,” Rock Fuel Media producer Barry Summers says. “A Grammy Nomination for ‘Best Long Form Video’ would be the icing on the cake for Axl and all involved, but we are very pleased with the overwhelming success and praise we are receiving.”

Then dont buy it or listen to it if you have no interest in it at all..You have the choice to watch or not..but if Justin Bieber is more your speed, go on over to youtube…
Not a big GNR fan but I watched this last night on axis and it was pretty dam good
I saw the concert on axis tv last night. I was quite impressed with rose’s bandmates. They are all super tight and delivered a great show. Much better than I thought.
My new cable provider does not carry AXS but I just got the Blu ray and will check it out
I would have a lot more respect for Axl Rose if he would call this band something other than G N’R. Those of us old enough to remember know that Guns N’ Roses ended the minute Slash left.
Same here Jeff…unfortunately, a band’s identity is like a brand name and people are brand whores and Axl knows he’ll get no support from labels or promoters if he tours as “The Axl Band”, even though that’s what this really is.
I would have loved to see the lineup that played at the HOF induction go tour, and maybe call themselves “Guns 2.0” or something. They could have Steven play the early material and Matt take over for ‘Illusion’ era stuff.
why is Axle even bothering……. he sounds like a lounge act. his voice is done……..I guess we all have to pay the bills.
