GUITARIST JOE HOLMES’ FARMIKOS RELEASES VIDEO FOR “FACING EAST”
Farmikos, the new L.A. band featuring former Ozzy Osbourne and David Lee Roth guitarist Joe Holmes and vocalist Robbie Locke (ex-Laidlaw), have announced a tentative January 15th 2015 release for their eponymous digital debut EP.

I’ve been looking forward to this band putting their album out. The teaser videos they put on YouTube hint at a heavy, dark sound in the vein of classic Alice In Chains but not a blatant copy of that band at all. Joe’s a great guitarist and more people need to know that and hopefully everyone will once this album is released.
Eddie really likes these guys and is giving them a much needed push. Good for you Sir.New projects don’t get any push from record companies anymore,so it’s up to guys with some stroke like Ed and then word of mouth to get a new band over. Hopefully these guys make a go of it,because Joe is an absolute monster on the guitar.
I like what I hear. I can certainly see why Ozzy hired him, he and Zakk have very similar riffy pentatonic solos.
