I agree..When DeGarmo left this band so did most of the great songs. I am still an ORIGINAL line up fan and followed them without DeGarmo but anything after Empire is weak compared to the DeGarmo stuff. This song sounds like any other new band coming out with Tate singing. Not bad but not Classic Ryche. The other version is in the same vein. I am afraid that BOTH bands need to reconcile and GET DEGARMO back for a full on attack..
Chris Degarmo is never coming back, and neither is Queensryche unfortunately.

I totally agree with Joseph. I like this song and cant wait till the album comes out.
Every band has a window to write great music that will stand the test of time….. and its not when you’re in your 50’s….. You are never gonna have another warning,rage,om I,empire….. But, this does sound better than the Redemption song put out by the other guys . Why on earth you would want to switch singers with 10 yrs left in your career is beyond me . Look at Eddie & Roth ….. You threaten to fire Geoff if he dosent let you contribute more on each release. Not fire him behind his back . No wonder he got so pissed in Brazil. 30 years and you dont sit down and tell him how it is ? I’m not switching singers Geoff is a beautiful singer with great stage presence regardless if he dosent hit high notes from Queen of the Reich anymore .

It sounds like Geoff Tate singing with Nickelback…no musical textures at all like QR. One original member vs. three. That could be any band back there…oh, look…it is!
@bigsled…where was that great stage presence last year at Rocklahoma, when GT told the audience that they sucked? I didn’t even know the backstory of the feud then, and I thought, and still think, that was ridiculous! It’s a BAND, not a dictatorship…otherwise you end up with “hired guns,” and while I respect Rudy Sarzo and Co., there’s no way this should be billed as anything other as the Geoff Tate Band. Sorry, I side with the BAND on this one!
P.S.—the “other guy” can hit the Queen Of The Reich high notes=WIN
Not really impressed with this or other Queenryche single they both need to just hang it up before it gets anymore embarrassing think of the fans guys!!!
