  1. This guys was a great drummer and artist. I missed seeing him with the 9 of the Knot. Great loss for the band 8 years ago and for all of us who loved him. Poor guy apparently had some disease similar to M called Transverse Myelitis.

I think he’s the 3rd member to die young in this great metal band from Iowa.

    What a shame. RIP JJ

  2. Though I am not really a Slipknot fan, I did hear the album Iowa and some of their other songs.
Jordison was a monster, and I loved hearing his battering ram double bass.
I also remember reading in Rolling Stone about a car his aunt owned that he was always fond of, so she passed it down to him when he got his driver’s license.
Joey Jordison, Dusty Hill, Jeff LeBar, Robby Steinhardt, Mike Howe and yes Biz Marky, man a lot of people passed away these past few weeks. Even if I never followed or was aware of a few of them, glad to see that the press gives them some recognition.

    1. Didn’t realize those other from Cinderella, Kansas & Metal Church had passed, too. Tough week. RIP
