Original KISS drummer Peter Criss joined frontman Rob Zombie on stage last night (Saturday, May 10th) at 93.3 WMMR MMR*B*Q 2014 at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey to perform a cover of the KISS classic God Of Thunder.
According to blabbermouth.net, Zombie introduced Criss by telling the audience: “Ladies and gentlemen, if you are anything like me, you were very disappointed a little while ago, because I tuned into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, and I did not get to see my favorite drummer get behind the motherfucking drums. So tonight, it is our great honor to bring to you the one and only Catman, Mr. Peter Criss.” Watch fan filmed footage below.
Rob Zombie has just completed a short 12-stop tour and will next head over to Europe for a run of festival dates beginning with the Sweden Rock Festival on June 5th.
Zombie is promoting the upcoming release of his first-ever concert Blu-ray/DVD, The Zombie Horror Picture Show, which will be released on May 19th.

Peter Criss should be the guest drummer on That Metal Show one night and settle the issue once and for all…can he play without a backup drummer? I saw the video of him and Ace at Eddie’s anniversary and I say he’s still got it. Let Peter be the guest drummer on That Metal Show.
I agree, that’d be awesome!
Great song & great job rob & peter!!
Hope Ace and Peter don’t do the big hype like Sebastian Bach did on his steaming pile of brown stuff he dropped to all of 4,000 idiots recently. You can’t top Monster or Sonic Boom, they moved huge numbers and Gene & Paul know they were great albums. Ace will do 50,000 then die, Peter maybe 17.
Huge numbers? Gimme a break! SB (or BS, more accurately) sold between 3 and 400,000 and was on the charts for about 3 months. Monster only sold about half of that and was on the charts for only half as long (clearly, half the people who bought the previous album knew not to make the same mistake twice). Neither album even went gold. And don’t give me that garbage about how “rock records just don’t sell like they used to,” because both AC/DC and Metallica’s last albums went platinum. The reason Ace and Peter’s albums may not do as well as what Paul and Gene are currently shoveling is because they don’t have the security blanket of the “Kiss” brand name to fall back on. And by the way, that’s all it is at this point – a brand name. Ace may only play theaters now, but at least he can still headline and doesn’t have to piggy-back on other bands in double-bill shows just to get people to see him. Paul and Gene could headline theaters too, but their egos won’t let them. Ace’s playing is still quite good. Paul’s voice? Not so much.
All For One. How many copies sold? Let’s see…Gigi bought one, but returned it shortly thereafter. Trunk bought one…. So that makes 2.
Headline what Rick…a 500 seater or large club. Umm wow, cool I guess. Besides, most bands in this day and age are playing package tours. Hell, Motley is packaging Cooper and that’s their Farewell tour. What…Metallica, U2…not alot of bands can tour on their own now…especially older bands.
i’m gonna move a huge number two on top of monster and sonic boom . there you have it folks, “kiss krap”. goodnight everybody!
I cannot tell you how much I think Rob Zombie absolutely sucks as a singer and musician…he should stick with movies…
Yeah is voice is terrible. Was he trying to be Paul.
Yep, although I like Hellbilly Deluxe and the White Zombie stuff.
Kiss units are huge for these days. Ace & Peter will break even after the advertising & expenses. I saw Ace in a tiny bar years ago, they had to hold him up most of the night. At least he can stand now and might do Winery Dog audience numbers. Peter? He was dead out of Kiss on his first solo concert ever in NYC no less, nobody showed up and he cancelled his Stamford Connecticut high school gig. Rumour has it he didn’t refund it. Sure Zombie sucks, it is mostly show on stages. Kiss Week ’15 in Vegas, 2 ’77 line-up shows the last two days. AEG is keeping it quiet.
