    1. Agree totally. I feel so lucky I was able to take my 11 year old son to see them on this tour. I sure hope I’m wrong and someone new comes on to carry the torch, but I don’t think in his lifetime he will ever see a better live rock band. Such a special thing for me to share that with him.

    2. So right. I don’t care how great any new band is. Nobody will ever take the place of the mighty AC/DC. Unless they can resurrect Bon, I don’t see how anyone could replace Brian.

    1. Absolutely! Somebody has to “Stand Up For Rock ‘N’ Roll” from down under! And O’Keeffe is just the dude to do it! šŸ˜‰

    2. Agreed O Keefe would be awesome. Another I always thought could pull it off would be Jesse James Dupree. But Bon Scott and Brian Johnson have such unique voices I just don’t know. If anyone wants to hear some of Brian’s incredible vocal range listen to some early Geordie recordings. He sings an incredible version of House of the Rising Sun. There’s also a Geordie song called Treat Her Like a Lady that has an incredible vocal as well. Very soulful, almost reminds me in some ways of Bob Seger with twice the vocal range. Worth checking out his catalog from that era.

  1. Wishing you well, Brian. You came into a difficult situation, after the tragic death of Bon Scott, and gave new life to AC/DC.

I love AC/DC, particularly the Bon Scott era, but I think with no Malcom Young, Brian Johnson, and Phil Rudd, it’s time to look back on a great career and hang it up.

  2. Some initial thoughts for a replacement singer: Steve Whiteman, Joshua Todd, perhaps Sebastian???????? These are guys who can ‘screech’ those high notes…
