Hmmm…Myles Kennedy has some free time in 2016. I think Joe Lynn Turner is looking to join a band too.

This is a prime example of why these bands should quit when they can still do it with dignity.

Yeah, I agree. I love AC/DC, but like a lot of bands, how long can you go and still be professional? How many people do you replace and still call it the same band? Lately bands seem to just tour forever as greatest hits bands and replace members as the fall down dead. That’s kind of lame.

Who wants to see them with a replacement singer? That’s odd. Brian fit right in with AC/DC and the band was still wildly successful after losing an iconic singer. Do they think they can do it again?

It is a bummer that this hits now, but I don’t think anyone should be surprised. AC/DC is a loud concert, even by rocks standards. That’s a lot of years of insane volume, even if it was racing that ruined his hearing. It could be. Working around cars destroyed my hearing faster than playing in bands.

Geez I saw them at Gillete Stadium last August and thought Brian and the band sounded amazing. They definitely weren’t some watered down version of what ac/dc used to be. Being a longtime fan I do find it hard to see someone taking Brian’s place if it is only temporary. However if it is retirement time for Brian, I would love to see them carry on another 10 years or so with a new singer, and have a third generation of the band. The band itself has transcended generations and genres. I mean, who really doesn’t love AC/DC? Keep the thunder rolling

Wow! Sad to hear that about Brian. Hopefully just a temporary set back. AC/DC does do it loud though. So interesting they would tour with a replacement singer. Bummer for those that already have tickets though. Will be interesting to see who they get.

I hear Sammy Hagar is looking for a prolific guitar player to hook up with.

Yeah, and I heard a very prolific guitar player is looking to hook up with Sammy Hagar, again.

I’m with Eddie on this , its time to call it a career … AC DC being one of my all time favorite bands , them going on with a new singer seems weird at this point in their career .. They don’t have much time left either way .. They aren’t going ten more years .. They have only had three tours since 2000 anyway… Well since angus wants to keep going , if you get a singer I say you get an unknown guy that can sing the shit outta the songs … I’m not up for the replacement to be a popularity contest … Living in Toledo , OH I have three shows coming to my area , if I go it would be more of a tribute to brian if anything …. Just have to see how everything plays out …
