AC/DC AND AXL ROSE POST PROMO VIDEO FOR LISBON SHOW

Axl Rose has appeared with AC/DC for the first time in an official capacity as part of a video promoting his debut show with the band.

The Guns N’ Roses frontman will play his first show with AC/DC in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 7th, after he was confirmed as their guest vocalist for the remainder of their Rock Or Bust tour.

Rose was brought in after Brian Johnson was ordered to stop touring or risk going deaf.

In the video, guitarist Angus Young says, “Lisbon here we come. We’re really excited to be here in Portugal. We’re here to give you a great rock show and we hope to see you all there.”

Rose adds, “Absolutely, we’re very excited to be here.”

  1. I can’t think of a better person to finish out their tour. I know it’s been popular to hate on Axl for many years, but in the clips I’ve heard of the new Gun’s shows he sounds and looks great.

I understand it isn’t Brian, but if he isn’t going to sing, would fans have been happier if they had completely cancelled the tour, for which someone would probably sue them?

  2. I don’t know why angus did not reach out to the amazing Jimmy Barnes – probably the best replacement singer for ac/dc and the guy they should get moving forward – check out jimmy and joe bonnamassa’s version of lazy – as well as “good times ” the song he did with inxs years ago – check out the recent version of it with keith urban – the guy sounds like brian naturally without being a copycat -the guy is perfect for ac/dc moving forward -great great singer

  3. It would have been so easy to include Brian in this statement (that mostly seems to be intended to keep the fans holding on to their tickets), like e.g. saying they would do this in his honour or sth like that … but, no, nothing but strategic phrases … I am sure Axl can do this but the way Brian is treated in public by the Young administration is just mean. But you reap what you sow.
