ACCEPT’S “BLIND RAGE” TO BE RELEASED ON JULY 18TH

accept400 Hardly any other band has influenced the Heavy Metal genre as much as German legends Accept. Classics albums such as Restless And Wild (1982), Balls To The Wall (1983) and Metal Heart (1985), have inspired generations of new bands, and this has continued since their reunion in 2009. Both Blood Of The Nations (2010) and Stalingrad (2012) entered the charts globally and underline the premiere league status Accept still have today.

Now Accept announce the release of their new studio album: “Something happened to us, something subliminal and impetuous,” commented main composer Wolf Hoffmann. “It is wild and scary and it’s called Blind Rage!”

Blind Rage, just like its two predecessors has been produced, mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap. On July 18th, 2014 Blind Rage will be released worldwide. “The cover artwork done by Daniel Goldsworthy shows the beast coming over us – in blind rage – all over the planet. Wherever we go, whenever you turn on the TV – there is blind rage in the works – either natural catastrophes or man-made madness”, the axe man of Accept states.

I’m looking forward to this album. I just hope it sounds good w/some dynamic range to it. The vinyl version of Blood Of The Nations rocks almost as good as BTTW did (comparing the vinyls of each). The CD’s sound pretty bad.
I do hope they’ll do a tour of the US & realizing it won’t be huge places, I’d like to see them at the Hard Rock Rocksino in Northfield, Ohio. That place is less than 6 months old & the only ‘Hard Rock’ act they’ve had is Quiet Riot this Friday & no one really cares about that show. A summer Accept show would rock the place in grand style! I love the cover art as well.

Your right about the dynamic range..or lack of it.. loved Blood of the Nations but it doesnt “sound” very good… but that is pretty much true of all cds anymore. Thanks for posting ..nice to know about the viny. To my ear vinyl is hit and miss…some of it is no better

Can’t wait. I credit Eddie with turning me on to the “new” Accept. I had never taken them very seriously. He had Mark on around the time Blood of the Nations came out and played a couple of songs. I loved them. When I got the album, I’m not lying when I tell you I listened to that CD multiple times EVERY SINGLE DAY for a year. It was a brilliant record. Stalingrad was really good, too.

Hope I get to see them live finally this year.

Can’t wait! Last 2 albums have been SUPERB! Saw them in Dallas on Stalingrad tour, and will gladly make the 3 hour drive again. Killer band!

The last 2 albums have been outstanding! New Accept fan here because Blood of the Nations. I love this band. I haven’t been looking forward to a new album this much in a very long time.
