A NEW REVENGE, FEATURING TIM”RIPPER” OWENS, KERI KELLI, RUDY SARZO AND JAMES KOTTAK, SET TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM, “ENEMIES & LOVERS” ON MARCH 29TH, NEW SINGLE, “THE WAY” STREAMING ONLINE

The LA Based outfit, A New Revengefeaturing an all star line up of classic rock players, will release their debut album, Enemies & Lovers,on March 29th through Golden Robot Records.

Supergroup is a term that has been diluted over time. Throwing a bunch of people from other bands into a new project doesn’t automatically make them Super, but their bio’s will tell you otherwise. It’s time to seek revenge and reclaim that word,

A New Revenge is the very definition of a supergroup. One who’s members have more than earned their legendary statuses but also remain humble enough to let the music do the talking and not actually rely on the term.

Featuring one of the finest voices in metal of all time, Tim “Ripper” Owens (who’s voice is all over albums from Judas Priest, Iced Earth and Yngwie Malmsteen), one of the most versatile and name checked guitarists in rock Keri Kelli (Slash’s Snake Pit, Alice Cooper, Vince Neil Band and a hundred more) the most iconic bass player in heavy metal history, Rudy Sarzo (who’s work with Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Whitesnake and many more has earned him an almost revered status in heavy music) and long time Scorpions drummer James Kottak (also from Montrose, Warrant, Kingdom Come & more)

Keri Kelli, the bands guitarist says of A New Revenge coming together; “Beginning the songwriting process we said ‘Let’s get together and come up with three or four original songs.’ Without any pressure, just creating as we went. Finally we got to the eleven songs we were all happy with. ‘Here’s To Us’ was the first song we wrote for this record. It came very fast and was pretty simple to write. Its basically an ode to hard rock fans the planet over”

To further, Kelli comments on the album, Enemies & Lovers, “It’s been a long time coming but it’s completely finished mixed, mastered and all ready to go. We all really, really excited to finally unleash this on the hard rock community.”

A video for the first single from the albums release, The Way, can be viewed below. Due to scheduling conflicts, Sarzo was unable to attend the filming of A New Revenge’s videos. The band’s good friend and renowned player Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne, Last In Line) stepped in at the last minute to take his place.

A New Revenge will hit the road across the U.S. in support Enemies & Lovers throughout 2019 and is looking at locking in a European tour later in the year.

  1. I hope this band gets a live presence going…a band with this much talent with classic songs and great new material? Did the planets just line up right or something? I am not crazy about the production but they didn’t mess it up either….this is playable and the material is really strong…this is exactly the move Tim should’ve made… a long time ago…lol…but, here he is still in the game, finally with the right band… I am getting the shirt and the CD.

  2. I heard Deep Purple’s “Bad Attitude”…lol…when you get musicians as good as those guys up there…they can do this and not re hash something…Iommi did that with his own material for 30 years. But it does sound a lot like that Hole song..I hadn’t heard it enough for it to register…maybe they’ll sue. (?) Goodnes, Kottak is back there putting on a clinic..that is some serious groove he laid down….I also like that drum sound he got; it’s really modern but it withstands repeated listens…he made the right decision by making it really compressed like that…I’ve listened to this song about half a dozen times already…

    1. I think Billy Corgan wrote that song. If that is the case, monetarily, Love would not get much out of it, unless she “co-wrote” it.

Also, I would not have made the connection, had I not heard Celebrity Skin recently, as I am not really a Hole fan. Courtney Love is to music, what the Kardashians are to the media.

      D 🙂

    2. I am sure he did; lol…he knows his classic rock. I wonder what he thinks of this song. I am getting this album because I am curious as to what the rest of it is like and because of the great musicianship.

    3. Unless someone, who really loves metal, brings it to Corgan’s attention, I doubt he has heard it, or if he ever will. BTW, I never liked the Samashing Pumpkins, nor his whinny emo vocals.

    1. 🙂
I tell ya, though, how could Rudy Sarzo get to where he couldn’t do the videos?? I mean, it seems this would be pretty important…say what?
