6/13: TRUNK FEST IS COMING 7/1 TO AXS TV! MORE

Getting closer now to the launch of my brand new TV series Trunk Fest on 7/1 on AXS TV. I am so pumped for you guys to see this new show. It is not in any way a substitute for That Metal Show. It is less a music interview show, more  a travel music festival show. The debut episode 9:30P ET on 7/1 is from Sturgis. There will be 8 episodes total every Sunday night. Two more to shoot including this weekend at Mountain Jam in NY. This has been such a fun experience and I appreciate everyone watching and helping to spread the word for me about it. Also I have heard from many about getting AXS or wondering if it’s on their service. I obviously have no control over this and do not know about online outlets for AXS. But some cable systems do offer it, you may need to buy up to another tier of service. DirecTV, Dish, Fios and many more all do offer it. Can’t wait for the premiere 7/1!

New podcast tomorrow with Robin Zander and Dennis DeYoung. Free www.podcastone.com and Itunes.

I am doing my show from a private event in Austin tomorrow. Listen daily 2-4P ET on SiriusXM 106 Volume, replay 9-11P ET to talk rock!

Next appearance 7/1 hosting Poison and Cheap Trick in Hollywood FL at Hard Rock!

Looking forward to hosting the Hair Nation tour. Thanks to Chip Z Nuff for joining me Monday on air. FYI as of now the stops I will be at are LA, Annaheim, Vegas, NJ, Philly, Dallas and Houston only.

  1. Just listened to the Podcast with Dennis DeYoung, great interview! I had no idea Dennis was so funny, and I’m hoping as much as anybody for a STYX reunion. Gowan is great, but I would LOVE to see Dennis, JY, Tommy, and Chuck (as much as possible) together again one more time, at least! I’m seeing STYX Sunday night in Tampa, and always have a great time seeing JY & Tommy and the current lineup, but like most STYX fans, I’m always hoping for a reunion with Dennis Deyoung for “The Grand Finale!” 😉 And hopefully before the R&RHOF, because who knows how many more years before that happens! And Dennis is absolutely right, there are millions of people out there that love Mr. Roboto, and I’m not afraid to admit or embarrassed to say that I’m one of them! in fact, it’s in my top 20 favorite STYX songs list! And here it is:

    20) Borrowed Time
    19) Shooz
    18) Sing For The Day
    17) Lights
    16) Suite Madame Blue
    15) Rock & Roll Feeling
    14) Mr. Roboto
    13) Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)
    12) Light Up
    11) The Best Of Times
    10) Born For Adventure
    9) Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)
    8) Crystal Ball
    7) Midnight Ride
    6) The Grand Illusion
    5) Miss America
    4) Too Much Time On My Hands
    3) Come Sail Away
    2) Renegade
    1) Rockin’ The Paradise

    – which is what we’ll be doing Sunday night in Tampa! Cheers! 🙂
