As previously reported, Saxon will be releasing their 22nd album, Thunderbolt, on February 2nd. The band has released a video of the title song, which can be viewed below.
Thunderbolt is the follow up to the critically acclaimed 2015’s, Battering Ram.

This is a kick ass song! Biff and the boys still sound great after all these years! I’ll definitely be getting THUNDERBOLT. Having them tour with Judas Priest will be a show for the ages! I still remember seeing them open for Black Sabbath on the HEAVEN AND HELL tour, and it was one of my favorite shows of all time. I sure hope the tour with Priest comes somewhere close, so I can catch it. Saxon definitely should have been more successful commercially than they have been!
Keith, I think it’s awesome you saw Saxon so early in their career! Was that on their Wheels of Steel tour?
I first saw Saxon on their Power and the Glory tour when they opened for Iron Maiden. And I saw Saxon again a couple of years ago with Armored Saint. Saxon and Armored Saint…two great bands that should have had more success!
