Had a great weekend in IL and MI hosting a couple shows headlined by Ratt and also featuring Sebastian Bach, Dokken, Lita Ford, and in IL Warrant & Kip Winger. Also hosted a pre party in IL with LA Guns. Was a blast seeing everyone and thanks to all the amazing fans I met. Always blown away by the support I have from fans of the radio shows, books and of course TMS. Sincerely appreciated! Was most impressed by Ratt who sounded really powerful and Lita Ford, who has a great band with Mitch Perry, Marty O’Brien and Bobby Rock. She sounded great and the set list even had some Runaways. She is really on her game right now. Don Dokken had good and bad moments and admitted to me he has been struggling and is recovering from cancer. Said he will be fine and only has a few treatments left and it was found in his stomach early. Considering what he is dealing with I think Don and his band did a solid job. Bas was his usual energetic insane self! Was a great weekend and thank you Wauconda and Kalamazoo! Also thanks to Chuck Brennan for the lift on his private jet and Ratt and their management for the hook up. Hope to be back to both cities soon and will be in Chicago soon at HOB for my book tour. Info on the home page!
This Friday I’ll be live on Q104.3 NYC and announce the party for my radio shows FREE 30th Anniversary party 10/23 at Hard Rock Cafe. You will also be able to win tix on this site with details TBA. Of course you need to be in NYC or able to get here for it. Much more soon.

Pat Travers is very under…rated…just saw him on the rockin blues show
With Rick Derringer(rock and roll hooch koo)and the great Edgar winter….pat looked and sounded great….Eddie
Let’s give him props..well deserved…
Great show in Wauconda, came up from Indianapolis for the day. Ratt certainly delivered almost as good as the 80’s. I glad to see Don perform (Dokken, my favorite band) and hope he continues to recover. Sabastian kicked ass, worth the price of admission. Upgrade to VIP was worth the price over G.A. and hope Rockin’ the farm is an annual event. Thanks to you Eddie for keeping the metal flame going through all the years! Over 50 and still rocking!
Thanks, they do want to do it every year, guess they will see after they count the receipts
Ratt killed on Saturday…such a great band!
I’ve always found Warren DiMartini and George Lynch’s guitar playing to be somewhat similar, but both very good.
Love Pat Travers. Couldn’t agree more that he is severely underrated.
Eddie, enjoy every single moment with your kids while they are growing up. It goes by faster than you think it will. My oldest son started his senior year in high school today, and after he left this morning I was sitting around wondering where all the time went. But you know what, just one more thing I love about this music that we all love so much is that (thankfully) he loves it to, so even after he leaves home, when Dream Theater or Iron Maiden or any number of bands come to town I can always call him up and say “Let’s go to the show!”
