6/11: RIP PAUL CHAPMAN, TOMMY SHAW, FRANKIE BANALI, ALICE COOPER, ACE FREHLEY, CHRIS JERICHO, MORE
Saddened to hear about the passing of former UFO guitarist Paul Chapman. I was a HUGE fan of this era of the band and the 4 albums Paul made with UFO are among my all time favorite. The first time I saw UFO in ’81 he was the guitarist. A super underrated player that played in a super underrated band and made super underrated albums with that band! Paul died Tues on his 66th birthday. UFO drummer Andy Parker was on my TrunkNation SiriusXM show today and confirmed Paul died of a heart attack and had recently had a stroke. My condolences to his family, friends and fans. Go crank No Place To Run, Mechanix, The Wild Willing & Innocent or Makin Contact. GREAT melodic hard rock at it’s finest! RIP Paul.
