5/2: M3, MYLES KENNEDY TODAY, VINNIE VINCENT STORY, BILLY SQUIER, TULSA, L.A., MORE

Great time hosting M3 this past weekend. Had a blast being back and they did an amazing renovation job to the venue. Thanks to all the bands, fans and crews. Next year is year 10 of M3. I greatly look forward to it and great hanging with everyone in MD.

Today Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge and Anders of In Flames live in studio for TrunkNation. Catch the show live 2-4P ET, replay 9-11P ET on SiriusXM Volume 106. Both bands play NJ tonight at Starland.

I am aware of the many rumors and the Swedish TV show about Kiss and Vinnie Vincent. But since the show is not in English it’s hard to really comments more. Whatever Vinnie is doing these days, or whatever he has become (if true), hope he is happy and still hope to one day do an interview.

Many ask about Billy Squier. He is doing one acoustic performance and interview with GE Smith 9/1 at Guild Hall in E Hampton NY. Hoping to have Billy back on my radio show soon.

This Friday I’ll be doing TrunkNation live from IDL Ballroom in Tulsa. Don Dokken and possibly Alice Cooper may drop by. Then I host Dokken at IDL later that night. See you this Friday Tulsa!

This Sunday I host Ride For Ronnie for the Dio Cancer Fund. Many special guests being added. Hope to see you in S CA. Then my radio show live from LA week of May 8.

RIP Jeff Hannemam who passed away 5 years ago today.

  1. I missed the Kennedy interview. Did he mention anything about new music with Slash…or hopefully that they have nothing planned because Slash is going to record with Guns?
