Well, number 1 is obviously the mighty Neal Peart (RIP), then for me and in no particular order, Tommy Aldridge, Mike Portnoy, Taylor Hawkins (although his lead singer is no slouch either), and never on “best of” lists, but I’ve also like Max Weinberg.
