Headed to KC in a couple hours. Never been to Kansas City MO before and it should be a fun but very short visit. I’ll be hosting UFO tomorrow night at Voodoo Lounge at Harrah’s casino. The band isn’t doing the E coast this run so I had to get on the road to catch them. Doors are at 7, which is the same time my meet & greet will be if you purchased that package (this is how the casino choose to do this). UFO I assume hits around 8 or 9P. Signed copies of both of my books and T-shirts available at merch if you are making the show. See you if going!
AC/DC are offering the option of a refund for their postponed dates which is totally the right thing to do. I am not surprised. They have always been fair straight shooters with their fans. Now let’s see what the next moves are. It will be very interesting to see how this is handled and what direction is goes. More of a Farewell vibe? Or yet another re launch of AC/DC 3.0 with a new singer again.. ?

Eddie, im ready for acdc 3.0. After seeing them on this tour they still have it and are still relevant. And you never know this may be just a temporary thing with Brian. In any event I think they’re still too big to call it a career, I could see if they were having a hard time selling tickets, but acdc is a major worldwide concert draw. It’s not time yet, I hope. I’m sure your trying but hope you can get Brian or Angus on your show sometime soon to discuss this.
MARK STORACE – he is the one who can step in – listed to Krokus’ “Hardware” album; it’s the best AC/DC album that AC/DC didn’t record!! It’s got some hilarious lyrics as well – check it out. Seriously, he is the perfect fit for AC/DC.
if ac/dc needs a new singer, where’s udo? the man can sound like both brian Johnson and bon scott… in the same song! (balls to the wall)
I’ll second this.
What about Lzzy Hale? In the words of AC/DC, “She’s Got Balls!” 😉
How about Adam Lambert??
Completely ridiculous. No
I’m sorry, but AC/DC won’t survive another singer change, definitely not this late in their career. If they get someone to simply fill in for Brian is one thing, but the band moving on with their career with him being out of the band would be wrong and not work. He’s become to identifiable with the band, along with Angus, especially live. It sucks about his hearing, but if he has to retire, I’d rather see AC/DC call it quits to rather than get a new singer. This is just how I feel, doesn’t mean I’m right or anyone has to agree with me. Singers, especially ones that are iconic and much loved by fans, are the hardest band members to replace.
