Shot the pilot for my new TV project Inside Out with Eddie Trunk last night in NYC at Iridium with a live audience and Ace Frehley as my guest. The interview went over two hours and album by album with Ace. He also played some classic riffs, things he hadn’t played in decades! It really was a great first taping and I thank Ace, the fans, and Don Maggie and the entire Iridium crew for making it happen. Next step is editing it down to an hour show (and since it was over 2 cuts will be hard to make!), producing it, and then finding a home for it. If that all goes to plan then it becomes a series. So still much to sort out. I’ll keep everyone posted.
Also FYI we are still very much working on a new home for TMS. I have a meeting today as a matter of fact. It is a slow moving process but we are still very hopeful. More when I can share.
New podcast tomorrow is an exclusive with Phil Mogg of UFO!
Headed to S FL tomorrow for 80’s RockFest. I’ll be on Paul & Young Ron 9A Friday on Big 105 in Miami, then at the event both days. Congrats to my ticket winners in ET’s Box Office.
Hope you all like the new site design. Obviously some fixes still to come but it is cleaner, easier and now optimized for phones and tablets. Thanks to webmaster David Souza for all his hard work!

That interview was the coolest Ace/KISS thing I’ve experienced in my 35+ years of Ace worship, and I’ve seen a lot over the years. ACE double-handedly inspired me to grow up to be a guitar player, and to learn only last night that he plays some of that stuff in open G tuning blew my mind – no WONDER I always felt like I was missing something when jamming to some of that old stuff! Leave it to an Eddie Trunk interview to always deliver a nugget or two (if not more) of new information like that to a diehard fan.
THANK YOU for doing that, Eddie, and good luck with the show. Bummer that it has to be edited down (I wouldn’t wish that job upon any Ace fan) but so glad I was there to see the full thing. It was an honor!
Need to fix the “View More Music News” link at the bottom of the main page. It’s still linked to what I assume was the test site.
Eddie, it would be great if you could have your Webmaster fix the Members Only radio shows to allow for a bookmarking feature. It’s a real pain to find where I had left off on a four-hour Sirius show.
Also, after the first hour or so of the Sirius show on Feb. 8, 2016, the volume disappears. It wasn’t like that a few days ago, prior to the website change.
So Eddie, when are we going to get to see Ed Zeppelin? 😉
My only website suggestion so far is to remove the “ET” logo on the top left. It blocks text when you are scrolling, at least it does on Chrome.
