Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Usual drill here in NJ with my family as it should be. Kids driving me crazy with their games on their new Ipods but that’s the fun of Christmas and having little ones I guess. I leave for San Fransisco on Tuesday to host Y&T at Rock Bar in San Jose on Wed, then fly back to NJ New Years day. Outside of that mostly some downtime hopefully with family and friends until things start up again 1/5. From there it will be intense pretty quick since we start taping TMS 2/17 and there is much to do before hand. Happy 2015 to all! More on the year end posted here soon and please see my top 10 of 2014 in a previous Trunk Report. Info on TMS guests and taping tickets when I have it posted here.

How the hell you didn’t include that song is just INSANE.

You may let people have a poll on the bands but it’s obvious you pick the songs when you do these specials. Because some of these songs you play are just not that good. Even the band themselves hate a lot of these songs you chose. Just not good choices for the most. Sorry.

    JUST WTF……

There’s only so much from Rush you can play in 3 hours. He played 2112 and Cygnus X-1. That alone is over a half hour already! LOL

Well, one thing can be said, complaints or not, somebody listened the whole 3 hrs!!

Eddie, Holiday Rush was great! As you pointed out, Rush’s songs run so long there’s no way you could have played as many as you did in the same time frame as on the Merry Kissmas show. I thought you mixed it up well. It was cool hearing 2112 all the way through over the radio. That never happens. Sure, there’s songs I would have liked to have heard, but the show is only three hours long. I love ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE, so it was cool you represented that album.

Some more praise for you Mr Trunk: CYGNUS X-1, BASTILLE DAY, IN THE END, FINDING MY WAY…. I love listening to great classic rock radio but it doesn’t matter how great a satellite, cable or terrestrial radio station claims to be you just don’t hear deep Rush cuts like that too often or not at all on radio.

The show put me in a Rush mood and I dug out ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE, CARESS OF STEEL and FLY BY NIGHT and basted them on my stereo back to back. 2112 and HEMISPHERES are next.
