Needless to say not happy about Priest not making the R&R HOF. Disappointed enough of my fellow voters didn’t join me in voting to get them in. Hopefully next year. They are so so important to the history of metal (which we have enough examples of how the Hall feels about that genre!), but at least on the ballot and in the conversation. Hoping for next year! 3 of the 5 artists I voted for did get in. Congrats to the Moody Blues, The Cars and Bon Jovi. And to all the inductees. Today on Trunk Nation Richie Sambora will join me live as well as Gregg Hawkes from The Cars. I’ll also reveal my Top 10 HOF snubs with a brand new list. Live 2-4P ET on SiriusXM 106 Volume. Replay 9-11P ET.

Tomorrow I am live from Houston, but please note the previously announced live public broadcast from Bombshells in on Friday in Houston is NOT happening any longer. My show is being pre empted that day so I had to cancel. Hopefully next time. If in Houston or Dallas I will be hosting LA Guns, Enuff Z Nuff & Johnny Solinger Thursday night at Proof (free show!), and I will be in Dallas at Bomb Factory Saturday hosting Ace Frehley, Dokken, LA Guns and more. So come see me if in Houston or Dallas at those spots. I will have merch available as well at both.

New podcast tomorrow features Myles Kennedy. Free www.PodcastOne.com or Itunes.

Theme for number 2 on the FM program this weekend will be the first ever all Black Sabbath show! 3 hours of Sabbath, all eras! Debuts Friday 11P ET Q104.3 NYC and Midnight WAAF Boston. Both stations stream free.

Have a great weekend all, more on Twitter @EddieTrunk

  1. Damn sin for Priest they influenced the sound and the look of Heavy Metal. I’m more dissapionted with the fan vote is that all of the priest fans. Happy for the Cars cause I listen to the before going full tilt Metal. Bonjovi? Yes like there stuff the new album was good but who says they we’re influenced by Bon jovi. If u say influenced people by getting a Superman S tattoo.
