1/19: WEEKEND RECAP, LIVE SIRIUSXM TONIGHT, MORE.

Had a great weekend of live shows in Cincinnati and Oshkosh WI over the weekend. Thanks to all who came out to MVPs and The Dockside Tavern. It’s a blast to come out and hang with everyone, tell some stories, do some live trivia and also see some of the bands the promoters put on the bill. In Oshkosh there was a band made up of very young kids (the drummer was 12, guitarist/singer 16!) called Bad Habitz that played 80’s hard rock covers and nailed it! Pretty amazing to see. All the fans and venues were so cool and were packed. Thanks so much to all! By the way, if you are a venue interested in booking me for my live shows contact artistsworldwide@aol.com . Next up shows with Don & Jim 1/31 in NJ back at Mexicali in Teaneck. Tickets and VIP tickets are on sale now. We will also be at Starland Ballroom in NJ 2/20 with Jackyl! All dates including shows in NYC, Pittsburgh, DE, VA and more on the home page now.

I’m back at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood FL 2/18 to host Alice Cooper! Get your tix and come on out!

I will be live 6-10P ET / 3-7P Pacific tonight on SiriusXM channel 39 TRUNKNation with music and talk that rocks. Michael Sweet will call in live.

Hey Eddie, just wondering of there’s any new news on Sykes? Any info on a possible release date for the new album? LET’S GO RANGERS! 🙂

I’m looking forward to the Vivian Campbell podcast. I hope his health is good and he’s recovering well. I hope he’s honest and really opens up and talks with Eddie about Dio and what went wrong between him and Ronnie.

You took the words right out of my mouth James, should be a very interesting Podcast.

Eddie, as you stated at the beginning of the latest podcast, some moron told you they were getting rid of your books and basically no longer a fan of yours just because you hate the Cowboys? That’s ridiculous on that person’s part. Doesn’t that person understand that you live in New Jersey, the Giants are your team, they’re in the same division as Dallas, so you are expected to and therefore SHOULD hate the Cowboys as well as the Eagles and the Redskins and want those teams to lose. I’m the same way but I’m not so dumb as to hate someone who is a fan of my team’s rivals. Having passion and routing for your home or favorite team is what it’s all about. So if someone is so sensitive and bent out of shape just because you want the teams that are division rivals to the Giants to lose then all I can say is that person is a big crybaby. I have friends who are fans of football, baseball, hockey and basketball teams that are either division rivals of my teams or they’re just teams I don’t like. We have a good time making fun of each other when one’s team loses but it all good fun, nobody holds grudges. That’s how it should be. For example, I’m a born and raised Dallas fan as was my dad who raised my brother and me as Dallas fans. We even had season tickets at one time. Then there’s my girlfriend’s brother who is a HUGE Redskins fan. I have idea why because the dude lives in Central Texas about 10 miles away from where me and his sister live. We are the best of friends except when those two teams play each other. We give each other hell during the game and also poke fun at each other all season long but we’re still friends because we not a couple of sensitive crybabies that get our feelings hurt. So if someone is so stupid as to not wanting to be a fan of yours any more just because you hate the Cowboys, then it’s their loss, not yours.

Keep up the great work Eddie. The radio shows, the podcasts and especially TMS are all awesome! And sorry I typed such a long post, I’ve drank WAY to much coffee!

      James,

Great post and you are a wonderful example of a mature and reasonable NFL fan.

Dana from ET.com and a fellow Giants fan 🙂

Bad Habitz here, thanks for the kind words Eddie! The band and crew really had a great time meeting you and listening to all your great stories. Hope to be able to meet up with you again someday. Can’t wait for the new season of TMS to start.
