10/15: HEADED TO SAO PAULO BRAZIL, MORE.

For years I have been hearing from many fans in S America, and Brazil especially, about the amazing rock and metal scene there and how much they love their music and also love That Metal Show. I’ve talked to many friends in bands that have confirmed that as well. So I am really excited to be leaving tonight for my first ever trip to Brazil. I’ll be visiting Sao Paulo and taking part in hosting duties for the Monsters Of Rock festival this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday the more modern day headlined by Slipknot, Sunday the more classic day headlined by Aerosmith. Hope to have a little time before the weekend activities to do some sight seeing and meet many of the great fans first hand. Joining me on the trip with be my friend and photographer Ron Akiyama. So when I return I’ll have plenty of great pro photos and maybe even some video as well to share. I will have limited access to internet but will post updated here, on FB and via Twitter when I can. I return next Tuesday morning and then of course the big 30th anniversary party happens the next night 10/23 in NYC. So my crazy October continues but no complaints! The party will be great with tons of special guests and The Winery Dogs live. Congrats to all the listeners who have won tickets.

Thanks also to everyone who has purchased my new book. VOL 2 off to a great start! More signings TBA soon. Next will be in the Boston area 10/25 at Tsongas Arena in Lowell MA in the lobby at 6:30 before the WAAF Thrillogy concert. Also 10/27 I’ll be at the Chiller show noon-5P at the Parsippany NJ Sheraton. Both books signed and sold at both events. More coming.

Be sure to check out my just launched merch store of Trunk Nation hats, shirrs and more. Great gift as well!

Radio shows for this Friday and Monday all new but pre recorded.

New TMS in January. News when I have it on specifics but good things in the works.

See you soon Sao Paulo!

  1. I’m almost done reading VOLUME 2 and I like it better than 1 because it presents more missed opportunities. Everyone is great in VOLUME 1, but 2 has RATT, QUIET RIOT, NIGHT RANGER and TESTEMENT who were on the verge of greatness but circumstances wouldn’t allow for it. WARRANT may be the most interesting sad story of them all. 1989-90 was a bad time to begin building a fanbase.
