I really enjoyed the Mustaine interview. IMO, Mustaine is THE PIONEER of thrash metal. He had that aggressive attitude and technical skills that totally influenced the riffs/songs he wrote that first appeared on Metallica’s No Life Til Leather demo, the origins of the thrash metal movement. And that demo helped catapult Metallica to stardom. Often I wonder how successful Metallica would have been without Dave Mustaine’s influence in the early beginning…..
