The official lyric video for the song Freight Train from Vandenberg’s upcoming studio album, titled 2020, which will be released on May 29th through Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group, can be streamed below.
Vandenberg stated about Freight Train, “Like a freight train. This is a song about character, determination and perseverance, things we all need in challenging times like these. We got this.”

Adrian Vandenberg is a great guitarist and Ronnie Romero is a great singer. But IMO, this ain’t the band Vandenberg, even if it is Adrian’s band. . Nonetheless, I’ll still buy the album.

Freight train sounds like a whitesnake tune that didn’t make it on an album , skyfall I didn’t like , and there was no reason to re- record burning heart – the original was and still is better – it all sounds dated and un inspired to me , with the talent on these recordings I’m disappointed ~
