Maybe Dave can be a back up dancer for Drake that evening!!!!!
And for the Executive VIP package, at only $2500 apiece, you can get the video package of Eddie Van Halen instructing Michael Anthony on how to play bass.
Well, it looks like Mike, kind of…Anyway, don’t miss this extra special offer!! I think we have done it again!
Maybe they can get Sammy and The Circle to open for them, then drag out Doctor Phil and they can have a Metallica sized meltdown right on stage while we get to enjoy Dr. Phil’s pseudo psychological euphemisms in that annoying Texas drawl of his.
Sammy will sing Dave’s songs better than Dave, and Dave will have a hard time getting through his songs while completely ignoring a decade of VH songs. Michael Anthony and Wolfy can have a BASS OFF, and we can watch Michael command the stage while he pounds on his Jack Daniels bass, while Wolfy mopes around and does some weedly-deedly Sheehan esque bass Brootz. Ed can create a narrative about the whole night that doesn’t reflect reality, and Sammy can record some more angry youtube videos throwing more expletives at the VH’s. Pay per view the whole deal.
That’s too funny!
I find what is most missing from Van Halen’s sound these days is a “piccolo trumpet”….
Who would win in a fight between Eddie Van Halen and Sammy Hagar? I think it would be close: Sammy is a little stockier and therefore may be physically stronger but Eddie’s a little younger, might have a longer reach and is also a bit on the crazy side. It’d be a good fight though. Michael Anthony could referee. They can put it on pay-per-view.
No contest James, Sammy used to be a boxer, and apparently Eddie used to be a music teacher, LOL! You make the call, but I’ll say Sammy in 2 rounds!
Good point. Sammy’s probably got the technical skills whereas Ed strikes me more as a brawler. One thing about a brawler is they can tire quicker. So I think I’ll give the fight to Sammy and I’ll generously give it until the first part of round 3.
As in any fight, anything can happen. But one sure thing that can happen is whoever does win can go on to get his ass kicked by Diamond Dave.
Sammy would win,he beat Sylvester Stallone in arm wrestling lol!
