UK BAND JAYLER NEW VIDEO/SINGLE ”NEED YOUR LOVE” OUT NOW, DEBUT ALBUM “VOICES UNHEARD” OUT MAY 29TH

Jailer, the electrifying U.K. rock band blending the spirit of rock’s golden age with a bold, raw modern edge, have released the video for their second single, Need Your Love. The track is a timeless groove-laden rock anthem and is taken from their debut album Voices Unheard, which is set for release on May 29th through Silver Lining Music. For pre-orders go to this location.

‘Need Your Love is about those nights where you clock someone across the room and just go for it. There’s a kind of instinct that kicks in, something unspoken and a bit primal, where you’re drawn to each other without really knowing why. It’s not thought out, it just happens and is real. We’ve all been there in some way, just following the moment, the music and the energy and seeing where it takes us,” states JAYLER

Watch/Listen to Need Your Love below.

JAYLER deliver swaggering riffs, soulful vocals and an unstoppable live energy, which is already seeing them known as a tour de force in the live arena.  There’s a DNA and nod to classic British bands such as Led Zeppelin and Queen in the mix, but the band’s identity is rooted firmly in the present — loud, emotional and built to connect instantly.

The eagerly anticipated new album Voices Unheard will be released on May 29th. Due to incredible demand and in celebration of the release, Jailer will host a series of exclusive album launch shows and in-store signing sessions across the U.K., giving fans the opportunity to meet the band up close, have their albums signed and capture the moment with photos. Each event offers exclusive album-and-ticket bundles. For dates and tickets visit: here.

  1. Listened to two tracks of theirs. Old school spirit. The riffs are catchy, the singer is quite good. Not bad. I wouldn’t buy it, it doesn’t GRAB me, but it’s pretty good.

    1. I agree….it’s a close call for me….they almost wrote Ballroom Blitz there Down Below…..maybe they should’ve just covered it? their names are cool …and seem made up…non manufactured? or just in a good way..? there’s a lot of new rock releases that I would’ve liked more 20 or so years ago..

    1. No, I was sent the press release, and since some Karen recently complained that we never feature new bands, while not being terribly awful, I acquiesced. LOL!

  2. Dana, that’s really funny.

Well, if new bands wrote great songs, it might not be a so called issue.

Alice Cooper said it best, “Where’s the songs?”

I must’ve said it 100 times, the last bands that wrote great songs, they made the scene, were Jet and The Hives. Especially Jet, that debut is a monster. It’s too bad drugs meant more to them.

    1. Mr. RN’R,

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you wrote.

Also, I too love Jet, I have their first two albums. I had no idea drugs were the reason, they stepped aside, what a shame.

    1. I don’t know, perhaps as I get older, I have less of a tolerance for high pitched singing voices? Or maybe it is just those that try to emulate Robert Plant? Plant‘s voice was never my cup of tea.

On the plus side, this singer’s voice is tolerable compared to the singer of Greta Van FleecingZeppelin. Thank God, it seems their 15 minutes are up.
