UGLY KID JOE RELEASE VIDEO FOR NEW AC/DC INSPIRED SONG, “THAT AIN’T LIVIN,'” NEW ALBUM “RAD WINGS OF DESTINY” DUE OCTOBER 21ST

Ugly Kid Joe will release a new studio album, Rad Wings Of Destiny, on October 21st. The official music video for the first single called, That Ain’t Livin, can be seen below.

Rad Wings Of Destiny sees the band re-teaming with producer Mark Dodson who was behind the desk for the band’s debut album, America’s Least Wanted, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

That Ain’t Livin’ is a tip of the hat to old-school AC/DC Powerage rock and roll,” comments frontman Whitfield Crane. The track features Shannon LarkinDave FortmanKlaus EichstadtCordell Crockett and Crane, with a guest appearance from Yellowcake guitarist JJ Curran.

Ugly Kid Joe will return to Europe this summer for a slew of festival appearances throughout June and July, including HellfestCopenhell and Graspop Metal Meeting.

After a 15-year hiatus, the band reformed in 2012 and has toured extensively throughout Europe and the rest of the world.

The band released the EP Stairway To Hell in 2012 and the full-length Uglier Than They Used Ta Be in 2015.

    Anything AC/DC inspired is more than okay with me, hence my love of Airbourne.

    I think UKJ did a good job, and I always did like Whitfield Crane, so as the Aussies would say, “good on them.”

      Hi Robert,

      I realized I forgot to look into Rhino Bucket up. Boy, you weren’t kidding, they sound almost exactly like AC/DC, even more than Airbourne.
