The Cult have announced some North American tour dates. Catch the band at a handful of festival and select solo dates throughout the summer, when they venture out from recording the follow up to their acclaimed 2012 album Choice Of Weapon.

Dana, I’m a proud Leo and I’m honored to say that I share that with you, Eddie and his son and John Sykes. August is a obviously a good month for birthdays! You, Eddie, Eddie’s son and I have some good company: James Hetfield, Phil Lynott (rip), Robert Plant and Dimebag (rip) to name a few were all born in August and are all Leos. And Phil, Robert and Dime were born the same day as me: August 20th! Oh yeah, I meant it: The Cult can play at my drunken 45th birthday this year.
