Ratt frontman Stephen Pearcy has released the following statement:
“After 30 years creating the band Ratt and losing a real brother, Robbin, it’s time that I personally part ways with the band.
I am officially done with having anything to do with them due to the constant turmoil, unresolved business, personal attacks/threats in the public forum, and most of all, the disrespect to the fans.
I’m very content and proud of the legacy and the music I’ve created. This music will live well beyond any of our lifetimes.
I owe no one anything but a huge heartfelt thank you for coming to the party for the last 30 years.
With much respect, life goes on and the music I created will continue to be heard for years to come despite the dark clouds that have lingered for far too long.
I will personally continue to make music and perform live shows.

Ratt was great in its heyday… circa RATT and Out of the cellar, but honestly, if you have listened to anything Stephen Pearcy has done live since about 1990, it is incredibly bad. His voice is shit, and Ratt is much better off with someone who can actually sing and stay in key.
Absolutely! Was waiting on some one to tell it like it is. Love him ( I do ), Hate him ( I have ) or indifferent ( now ) he wrote some amazing songs and some great riffs but after seeing them in Maryland, retire. The voice is shot. Gone. Nowhere even close to sounding like he did. I don’t know him but his current voice is DONE.
Stephen you will be missed in the band, Im truly sadded to hear this news today. I know you are doing this for the reasons you feel are right for you. I will always support your dision and listen to anything you do and or promote. I had truly hoped you all could have made it work this time. Good Luck in your new endevuers and know I will always be there. Love to you and the family always.

By the way, Eddie, I cannot watch “That Metal Show” any more. Those two idiots they have paired you with know NOTHING about music and their opinions are laughable at best. Maybe when they get new co-hosts or just let you do the show by yourself, I will watch again. Rock on Eddie!

Hey @ Izzy…It’s Corabi you idiot! And BTW…HE SUCKED! I’m sure a guy named John Corbi could sing better than Corabi. You people are F-tards! Stephen was the the RATT sound…and always will be! He, Warren, Bobby, Juan & Robbin(RIP) were RATT! I have seen them as much as I can, and will continue to go see Stephen, but will not be able to listen to “RATT” w/out his sound. These guys can be a-holes…but who cares, I just want to hear the songs…I’m not marrying them! I took my whole family to Rocklahoma in 2007(I live in San Diego) to see all my favorite bands from the 80’s, and more specifically, RATT. I have a pic of me, the wife, and 2 of my boys at the stage w/ Warren playing his R&R solo to my kid. Those are memories I will NEVER forget! So suck it all you haters!
