SEBASTIAN BACH TEAMS WITH ORIANTHI FOR “FUTURE OF YOUTH” TRACK AND VIDEO; CLIP FEATURES THE LAS VEGAS ACADEMY OF THE ARTS CHOIR

Sebastian Bach has released a new video—his fifth, from his current album Child Within The Man—for Future of Youth with special guest performer, singer, songwriter and guitarist Orianthi. Watch the video for the musically explosive and lyrically unflinching single which can be seen below.

“I am so excited to share this song and video with the world.” says the singer, songwriter, author, Broadway star, and actor. “This collaboration with my friend Orianthi began many years ago. The song, Future of Youth, has always been very listenable to my ears due to the musicians involved and also the unbeatable combination of Elvis Baskette and Robert Ludwig. The chorus is something I could hear on the radio.”

In tribute to the song’s title, Future of Youth features the Las Vegas Academy Of The Arts Choir from Bach’s recently adopted hometown of Las Vegas.

“To have the Las Vegas Academy Of The Arts Choir perform and sing in the video makes my heart pound with emotion,” Bach says, “because I fell in love with singing in my own church choir many, many years ago. It has always been a dream of mine to have an actual choir in one of my rock videos—to have one of the top choirs in the country rock out in Future of Youth is exactly what the message of the song is about. The Future of Youth belongs to the Youth and no one else”

Bach adds, “Thank you so much to Orianthi for the amazing guitars and riffs and to the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Vocal Director Matthew Ostlie—I can’t thank you enough for all of your incredible performances. Thank you so much to my Record label Reigning Phoenix Music for making this happen.”

CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN was recorded in Orlando, Florida; produced and mixed by Baskette; engineered by Jef Moll, assistant engineered by Josh Saldate; and mastered by Robert Ludwig/Gateway Mastering. BACH wrote or co-wrote all the album’s 11 tracks and sang all lead and backing vocals. CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN features guest appearances from John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi—who all co-wrote their respective tracks with BACH—and two tracks co-written with Myles Kennedy (“What Do I Got to Lose?” and “To Live Again’); Devin Bronson on guitars, Todd Kerns (bass) and Jeremy Coulson (drums) round out the players on the album.

Future of Youth is the latest release from his Child Within The Man album which has yielded four singles/videos, all of which have impacted the rock charts: Freedom (see here), What Do I Got To Lose? (go here), Everybody Bleeds (listen here) and (Hold On) To The Dream, along with the (Hold On) To The Dream alternate video (here). The new video is another collaboration between Bach and Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera. “This video is our fifth in a row with my friends Jim and Tony.  Once again, they have blown my mind with their artistic vision,” Bachnotes.

  1. Bas I’m more than cool enough to listen to your music. I always give credit where it’s due. You’re a fantastic singer and front man and you were Skid Row. But you have TDS and I have to say I enjoyed thinking of you having an absolute meltdown last evening hahaha. Ah ha ha ha ha! USA USA USA!!!

    1. Hello all,

Look, I try to keep this site free of politics, because, firstly, this is a music site, and secondly, politics is a very divisive topic. However since the election is now over, I will “say…”

Bach is very fortunate, to reside in a Nation, where he is free, to voice his opinions, whether they be educated or lacking information.

But with that “said,” how one can reconcile, being a “BAStion” (see what I did there? 😉 ) for freedoms, and then align with a “party,” who clearly seeks to censor and cancel, those with a differing opinion, makes little rational sense. Plus, it is antithetical, with the founding principles, of the country.

I can only presume, he was hearing one side of the issues, while living in a vacuum. Additionally, he may have been acting on emotion, rather than distancing himself, and taking the time to research the facts and figures.

He’s just a silly musician, and like many others before him, those in the entertainment (or sports) industry, should just stick to performing, and steer clear of polarizing topics, which will only marginalize half of the audience, and cost an individual fans.

I could not imagine paying top dollar, to see a band like U2, whom thankfully I never liked, live, and having Bono lecture me, when I am just there to be entertained. The smug, and sanctimony reeks, especially when the individual, is living in an ivory tower, and has their own, private security. To say these artists are out-of-touch, would be an understatement. I think the days of celebrities’ opinions, being held to a higher standard, are long gone. I believe most of the populace, just roll their eyes, when they speak.

In the end, I hope we can restore our nation, and fix many of the pressing problems, that affect our everyday lives. God bless America, The President and its citizens.

    2. Trump won, but more importantly, America won! Again!! Get over it, Bach! Nobody can put America Bach on track like President Donald Trump can, and will!

    3. Yeah I knew he was off his rocker in a rock and roll way, but I didn’t know he didn’t pay attention to anything.

    4. Juan more thing, musicians should just stick to music, and politicians should just stick to politics, but most importantly, we all need to stick together for the good of our country! Bottom line is, even with all of our differences, we’re all Americans!! Our country is only as strong as we are!

  2. Musicians, Hollywood actors, celebrities, and other high profile people are all free to express their opinions, like the rest of us citizens. However, these high profile people need to be aware that publicly doing so may polarize their followers. What does bother me about high profile people expressing their opinions is when they do it an event promoting their craft. For example, it makes me angry seeing actors express their personal opinions at Emmy’s and similar award shows, musicians at concerts or music award shows, athletes at sporting events, etc….But them expressing their opinions on their own personal time? I am totally fine with it….that person just needs to know that opening their mouth about their opinions may upset some of their followers…fairly or unfairly. For example, Lips from Anvil was very critical of Americans…essentially calling them “lazy”. As a result, I will never buy another Anvil album, attend an Anvil show, or listen to their music…and I used to love Anvil, prior to Lips’ ignorant comment.

Regarding politics, I agree 100% with Dana about keeping politics out of this site. While we each have our own opinions about music, expressing opinions about politics kinda ratches up emotions. Like all Americans, I want the best for our country, but sometimes we don’t all agree with what is “best” for our country. While I was not happy with the result of this election, I accept and respect the democratic process that was a founding basis of the United States. Make America Great Again????? This County was always great and will always remain great!

    1. Rattle,
      Agreed, great points.
I’d kinda forgot about the Lips’ comment. I, too, am on the Anvil boycott.

    2. How could Lips say that? I challenge any American to actually sit through all 15 Anvil records without completely losing their sanity….that takes intense stamina….then, if they make it through that, which I doubt….they have to listen to all of Venom’s records…

    3. Alcatrazz, Lips can say it cuz he’s less than intelligent. He thinks the collapse of the Twin Towers on Sept. 11th was a perfect demolition job, not the result of the planes that crashed into them. I guess he’ll always say crazy things….You can’t fix stupid.

BTW, I can easily listen to all of Venom’s albums. Love them! “Lay down your soul to the gods rock n roll !”

    4. I salute you Rattle! By the way, not sure if you or anyone here heard about this. But during the afternoon on Election Day, there was a pastor that met with Trump to give him blessings. To avoid the media and have privacy, they rented a boat and went out on a nearby lake. As they met, suddenly a gust of wind blew through and knocked the pastors hat off his head and it skipped across the water. Trump told the pastor not to worry and that he would retrieve it. Trump proceeds to step over the side of the boat, walks across the lake, retrieves the hat and walks on the water back to the boat. The next morning, news headlines said TRUMP CAN’T SWIM!
