Following a successful cross-country tour around the release of his latest album Child Within The Man (and first solo effort in 10 years), singer, songwriter, author, Broadway star, and actor Sebastian Bach is preparing to hit the road again this fall.
Along with the tour announcement, Bach is celebrating one of the album’s leading tracks (Hold On) To The Dream (written by Sebastian Bach, Michael Elvis Baskette, Devin Bronson and Isaac Heath Carpenter) with an alternate video for the song. Watch the clip below, and see the original version, here.
“We are beyond super stoked for you to check out the new (Hold On) To The Dream edit video. This song is becoming completely iconic in our live set. Enjoy the new version of video–which is similar to the previous one–just a little more finished. I am overjoyed to give you all a fresh look and listen to this song which completely mesmerizes the crowd and the band live every night. Looking forward to seeing you all Bach on the Road. We will give you a 100% LIVE rock ‘n’ roll show no tapes no fakes all real all the time cuz that’s the only way we know how to do it. Come and see a real rock ‘n’ roll show while it still exists.”
Sebastian’s fall dates begin October 4th in Portland, with dates in the U.S., including two shows at The Whisky in Los Angeles, plus 16 dates in his native Canada (see full itinerary below).
“The new album Child Within The Man is the rock ‘n’ roll gift that keeps on giving.” Bach says. “We are so excited to take this music across Canada and the USA this fall 2024. In addition to songs from the new record we will also be Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the first record Skid Row 1989 – 2024.”

Child Within The Man was recorded in Orlando, Florida; produced and mixed by Baskette; engineered by Jef Moll, assistant engineered by Josh Saldate; and mastered by Robert Ludwig/Gateway Mastering. Bach wrote or co-wrote all the album’s 11 tracks and sang all lead and backing vocals. Child Within The Man features guest appearances from John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi—who all co-wrote their respective tracks with Bach—and two tracks co-written with Myles Kennedy (What Do I Got to Lose? and To Live Again); Devin Bronson on guitars, Todd Kerns (bass) and Jeremy Coulson (drums) round out the players on the album. It has yielded four singles, all of which have impacted the rock charts: Freedom (with an Eddie Trunk cameo and can be seen here) What Do I Got To Lose? (click here) Everybody Bleeds (go here), and (Hold On) To The Dream.
The artwork for Child Within The Man holds special meaning since it was designed by Bach’s father, noted visual artist David Bierk. “This album artwork was started in 1978 and finished in 2024.” Bach says.

Happy birthday Dana!! We may not be the “Youth Gone Wild” anymore, but we’ll always be living Bach in the ’80s! 😉 Cheers!!
Ahhhh Sebastian Bach returns to Johnstown, PA. Back in the late 80’s Bon Jovi was playing at the Point Stadium in Johnstown. Skid Row was the opener. Bach shockingly had way too much to drink and was apparently so out of control that security had to lock him in a bus or something like that in order for him to sober out as much as possible before going on stage. I guess at some point they let him out and Skid Row went on stage. Sebastian then went on a rant about the Johnstown Police Department and may have threatened to kick their asses. After the show he was immediately arrested. Not sure what ever came of his court case but I thought he was banned from the city. Apparently that was lifted. Will be interesting to see if he brings it up on November 4th!
He was arraigned about three weeks later. My wife (at the time a late 30’s graphic artist at the Tribune Democrat) was outside with all the little girls when the magistrate was done. No big deal, probably paid a fine, I don’t remember anything about him being banned from town.
That was one hell of a good concert that scared the daylights out of the city fathers. The entire 53 man (and back then “man” was the operative word) Johnstown Police department was on duty that night, and they were damned and determined to remind all those punk kids who ran the town. The law enforcement was definitely a bit on the heavy handed side for what turned out to be a really peaceful, well-behaved, concert.
will he be throwing a jack daniels bottle at a fan wearing a maga shirt? you know because of his bruised ego and all.
Jack,
It absolutely blows my mind how people who don’t like Trump resort to violence, insults, etc. You don’t see any right wing supporters trying to take out biden or harris with a rifle. You don’t hear of people losing their jobs for supporting either harris or biden. Now the lunatics want to take away free speech so they can toss you in jail if you say something that doesn’t support their sick views. You cannot make this stuff up.
Backs new album is great good there’s more dates. And Happy Birthday Dana.
