Good deal. Best new rock band in years.
It may have made more sense to some people to have another really heavy band on the tour, but I think this will be an interesting bill with Rival Sons opening. It’s cooler to have a band that is different yet still rocks and they also have a cool retro vibe to their music, which i think will compliment Sabbath nicely. Plus, I’ve really wanted to see Rival Sons live but haven’t yet, so what better opportunity than seeing them AND Sabbath in the same night!
I usually don’t go too long without listening to Sabbath, but I’ve REALLY been on a kick lately. Last Saturday night, I sat in my backyard with a couple of my friends and an ice chest full of beer and listened to MASTER OF REALITY, Vol 4, SABBATH, BLOODY SABBATH in their entirety back to back and started SABOTAGE before one of my buddies begged me to put something other than Sabbath on the stereo.
the folks that are going to go see this show for the most part, can give a s–t about some new band, what like there going to go to one of there concerts where a bunch of 17-25 year olds are going to be there looking at you like your a dinosaur, they should have had a classic rock band to go out with them to say goodbye
