QUESTION OF THE WEEK, WHICH WILL BE DONE IN A FOUR PART INSTALLMENT, PER POSTER RICH,  NAME YOUR TOP FIVE FAVORITE GUITARISTS?

Next week will be vocalists, so put your thinking cap on.

I always had a top solid three, after that…?

1. Randy Rhoads

2. John Sykes

3. George Lynch

As of this typing, this will be my two other choices:

4. Eddie Van Halen

5. Eric Johnson

  1. 1. KK Downing

    2. Glenn Tipton

    3. Tony Iommi

    4. Ritchie Blackmore

    5. Jerry Cantrell (this will not be a popular pick but IMO he reshaped grunge & gave it the darker, edgier sound that resonates through most of Alice In Chains catalog)

  2. 1 – Tony Iommi (big surprise, right?!)

    2 – James Hetfield

    3 – KK Downing

    4 – Glenn Tipton

    5 – Zakk Wylde

I could also name EVH, Ritchie Blackmore, Steve Clarke, Phil Collen and Randy Rhodes, but I’m going with the ones that influenced me the most.
