AC/DC: Rhinobucket, Airbourne. Other AC/DC influenced bands: Kix and Buckcherry.

Black Sabbath: most grunge/ sludge bands: Alice In Chains, Soundgarden (especially Outshined)

Metallica: Pantera

Led Zeppelin: Greta Van Fleet, Bonham, Billy Squirer‘s song Lonely Is The Night, some Whitesnake (especially Still Of The Night).

If I think of an others I will add them to the list.

  2. Agree Dana – when you live in Seattle – with their weather, I can see why.
    Need to be in the mood to listen to most of that music.
    There were some bands like Candlebox that should have been bigger.

  3. I know why AIC and STP are considered grunge due to the imagery and stoner vibes, yet I’ve always thought of them as hard rock and STP rock.
