QUESTION OF THE WEEK, COURTESY OF POSTER REAL PAUL STANLEY: THE ORIGINAL “BIG 4” OF THRASH IS MEGADETH, ANTHRAX, SLAYER AND METALLICA. IF THE “BIG 4” WERE CHOSEN TODAY, WOULD IT STILL BE THESE BANDS OR WOULD THEY BE REPLACED BY A BAND LIKE TESTAMENT, OVERKILL OR ANOTHER THRASH BAND?

My big four is the same as Rattleheads lol Hard not to include Testament, but Overkill is just much more to my liking overall. If I could have a “big 6”, I’d include Testament with Flotsam and Jetsam in the final sixth spot. Just received their new album tonight, looking forward to hearing it finally.
Even though they are all great bands, I believe the big 4 are based on record sales. My favorite 4 are Overkill, Death Angel, Testament and Exodus
