Box sets from older albums? Creed. Very excited to see what Dead Pony does next!!! For some reason you can’t even buy their new cd. Shows how bad the music industry is. Also I just love Halsey!! The last two CDs that I bought was Tony Martin Thorns, and the six disc box sex Jethro Tull Still Living in the Past. I like to see something new from BOC. Mostly listening to older stuff. I recently was listening to Ted Nugent State of Shock and DD Tooth and Nail. I am thankful that I grew up in a time when music was great! The 70s, 80s and 90s.
As someone who grew up with the music is the 70s, 80s and some 90s, there is not alot I am looking forward to in terms of releases or concerts.
On my wishlist of releases:
1) Elton John releasing his solo concert in Edinburgh in 1976 on CD – Elton was at his peak playing and singing.
2) Do not know if this exists and I have seen snippets – but a video of the Police when they first played MSG in Jan 1981. That show was amazing as it was the point where the Police broke out – the arena was shaking. Their improvisations on tracks like “Shadows in the Rain” were so good.
Maybe there will be a boxset that gets my attention, but not sure at this point.
As for concerts – just as doubtful – don’t see any newer bands I like enough to see live and the older artists I have wanted to see – I have.
I look forward to seeing the Eagles at the Sphere in February. This will be my second time. The show is amazing & brilliant. Testament & Overkill in March.
I’ll be seeing the Satch-Vai tour w/ opener Animals As Leaders. A band I’ve never seen or really listen to come April.
Only other show I have lined up is Maiden, Megadeth and Anthrax in LA Nite1, might do Nite 2 as well.
I’m on the fence about seeing the 2/3rd’s RUSH tour. I might nab a last minute tix for the Seattle shows.
If I can, I’d like to see Bruce Hornsby and Chris Stapelton. Not that I’n aware of them coming close to my region in the PNW.
good morning Dana! just woke up and have a nice hot cup of coffee yum thank you for giving my nice sweet prays to Eddie Trunk so fast lol tell him that I will call into his show soon and tell him that I listen to his show ever day and ever night! hope you have a great day!
Looking forward to seeing Sabaton in Pittsburgh in March!!
And a bucket list for me…I’ve been with him since the beginning “Another One Rides the Bus” Finally going to see Weird Al in August. Front row at Merriweather Post Pavilion in MD!!
Per TaskerofPuppets, didn’t realize Bruce Hornsby was touring this year. I’ll have to check out the dates and places. Would be a first time for me. Such good music from him!

Sorry for being a Debbie Downer
You are not a Debbie Downer, you’re a realist.
Happy New Year all.

Just a short tour schedule thus far. I imagine he’ll add more dates as we get closer springtime.
