In the wake of rumors that his marriage is in trouble, Ozzy Osbourne has posted the following message on his Facebook page:
“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an asshole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober.
Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I’m just trying to be a better person.
I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period………and my fans.
God Bless,
Ozzy”
Osbourne had been busy recording Black Sabbath’s new album, 13, which will be released on June 11th. Black Sabbath have also announced four North American tour dates. Tickets go on sale for these shows April 20th.

Ummmmmmmmm, would one of the people he has been and asshole “to the people he loves most” also inculde BILL WARD?!?!?!?!?!? Sabbath is a joke without Bill Ward on drums!!
I am old enough remember when the first Black Sabbath album came out and listened to it for the first time in college. Never heard anything like it. These guys were as dark as their music. Their drug life style epsecially Ozzie’s was well know even then. Well Ozzy is over 60 with kids like his bandmates. As well as I am. That includes most of us of this age group. We accepted Ozzie’s carzyness then but it no longer funny. He has been on and off the wagon for drugs and booze while most of us have move on, become responsible and think of our families first. That include his bandmates. Ozzie’s lifesyle is no longer funny any more. He’s a drunk and a drug addict plain and simple. His act is tired as wsell as his music. The only thing that is keeping him alive is science. He mistreats his family on a milisecond basis. I have no desire to listen to this selfish sociopath who mistreats his family on a daily basis. No one should feel sorry for him. They should avoid him.
An addition to my comment. People who love metal music like I do have so much respect for Ronnie James Dio. Not just for his music but because he was such a gentle soul who loved his fans and family. Thats why we continue to hold him in high regard and respect him. When Ozzie goes to “Great Beyond” I doubt any decent human being or metal fan will hold him in high regard.
Hype for the album. No such thing as bad press.
I was introduced to Sabbath with their Heaven and Hell album in the early 90’s. Dio will always be my favorite Sabbath singer. I was looking forward to hearing the reunion, but without Ward I do not consider it a reunion anymore.
