  1. I’ve never understood why metal/rock bands perform with a symphony. IMO, Metallica stopped being a heavy metal thrash band after the “…Justice” album. I love Metallica’s music through the 80’s, before the “Blah-k” album, cuz of all the heavy riffage. To me, that’s what made Metallica great during that period. Hearing any of those great songs performed with a symphony totally “waters down” the heaviness of the music.

    1. So bro, I guess this means you won’t be including any of these symphony songs in your Metallica top 20 in 2 weeks? 😉

    2. Nope, not a single “One”. ;o)

My fave Metallica song is “Battery”. Dang, whatever happened to that Metallica, cuz today’s Metallica sure ain’t it anymore……

  2. Good “One!” ^^^ 😉 My fave would be a toss up between “Master” and “Justice,” “Battery” – 5 or 6. “Bell” would be up there as well. 😉

  3. Listened to the studio album minus S&M. So, I got my fave down, not in no order yet, but you can be sure there is nothing from Load, Reload and St Anger. I find nothing appealing there, the bulk of it will be from the first three albums. I also stay away from any covers they did.

Not sure but Four Horseman will be on top.still trying to get the order down. Oh, and nothing from Justice, not big fan of Metallica with no bass.

    1. Charles, I’ll have a few songs from “Justice” on my list, but only live versions! Those songs (as with all Metallica songs) sound so much better live, particularly from “Justice,” – bass included! 😉

    1. You’re right, Dana. :o). ….Charles’ opinions “mirror” mine. And to this day, no matter what clunker album Metallica puts out after the “blah-k album” (and IMO, they’ve all been clunkers from this once mighty thrash titan band), they continue to ride the coat tails of the commercial success of the “blah-k album”.

But,. unlike Charles, I love “…Justice”, even though Jason got no “justice” on that album. :o)
