MEGADETH ANNOUNCE CANADIAN TOUR STOPS, IN SUPPORT OF THEIR LAST STUDIO ALBUM, OUT JANUARY 23RD

Following the January 23rd release of their self-titled final studio album, Megadeth will launch their farewell tour in North America (see dates here) with a cross-country headline tour of Canada. The dates begin on February 15th in Victoria, BC and include stops in Calgary, Winnipeg, and Ottawa before wrapping up on March 6th in Quebec City, QC. Concert-goers can expect to hear songs from the uncompromising metal titans’ extensive and prized body of work, along with tracks from the new album. Megadeth will be joined by Anthrax and Exodus for these dates.

Leading up to the new album, MegadethDave Mustaine, Teemu Mäntysaari (Lead, Rhythm, and Acoustic Guitars), James LoMenzo (Bass Guitar) and Dirk Verbeuren (Drums)—have released two tracks, I Don’t Care out November 14th (watch the video here and listen to the song here); and Tipping Point, the album’s first single (watch the video here and listen to the song here)Megadeth have also announced a very special bonus track from the album: a reimagined version of Ride The Lightning, which Mustaine co-wrote with Metallica’s James Hetfield, Cliff Burton, and Lars Ulrich and was the title track from the group’s 1984 album.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Mustaine revealed in a social post directly shared with his worldwide fanbase and Cyber Army that the forthcoming album will mark the final studio album from Megadeth, who’ve sold over 50 million records worldwide and received a GRAMMY® Award (with 12 additional nominations). He shared the announcement of the album and tour via his alter ego Vic Rattlehead.

  1. I hope this tour comes to the United States. It would be awesome to see Megadeth headline the show and Exodus also part of the bill. It would be a great thrash event…..even with Anthrax, too. :o)

      Happy Thanksgiving.

      As of right now, Megadeth‘s only 2026 American tour dates, are opening for Iron Maiden‘s mini tour. The closest show, to you, would be September 25th, 2026 at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium.

      Perhaps, they will announce their own headlining tour at some point?
