JUDAS PRIEST FAILS TO MAKE INDUCTION FOR THE 2020 CLASS OF THE ROCK N’ ROLL HALL OF FAME, GUITARIST RICHIE FAULKNER TWEETS, “THE ROCK HALL HOLDS NO CREDIBILITY FOR ME AND NEVER HAS”

It has been reported that Judas Priest has been passed over, once again, for induction into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame. The band were on the ballot for induction this year, but failed to receive enough votes to make the class of 2020.

In light of the latest snub, guitarist Richie Faulkner tweeted back to a fan who wrote. “WAIT. Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails and Biggie Smalls BEFORE @judaspriest in #RockHall2020? How do I explain this to my child if I don’t understand it? #MetalForever #HeavyMetal” Then Richie replied, “Doesn’t make sense does it kenny? Hence why the rock hall holds no credibility for me and never has RHRF DOTF”

He continued in a separate tweet, “I’ve said it before but 50 years in and still making music, touring the globe to the best fans in the world is the biggest accolade I can think of. These institutions are founded on what these guys helped create and to not be included is a total joke. I have spoken haha”

He added, “If you wanna call it the ROCK hall, then you should START with a healthy foundation of ROCK (in all its forms) to build on. The founding brothers and sisters that created and developed our beloved style of music and aided it’s evolution. Otherwise, what does it mean?”

Even though artists are eligible for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 25 years after the release of their first album or single, iconic hard rock and metal bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, have yet to be recognized by the institution, whom also dragged their heels when it came to inducting Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and KISS. Deep Purple’s induction was aided by Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, who voiced his disdain that Metallica got in before the band whom influenced them.

And please stop mentioning Roger Waters. He was talented but also an extremely disgusting human being and a grade A douche bag. The other 3 guys in PINK FLOYD turned down a hundred million dollars each because they couldn’t bring themselves to tour with him. Imagine turning down that type of money because another person is such an as$&ole?

      Again, thank you MM,

I also LOATHE the despicable Waters.

Additionally, while I know I am an exception to a rule I was never a fan of Floyd. People have the nerve to say Sabbath records should come with razor blades? Uh no, that would be Floyd, in my opinion. Again, to each their own.

I like Floyd (from Dark side of the Moon and up), but not a fan of Waters. I agree he is a major douche and I liked Floyd even better when he left. I try not to look too much into the politics of musicians. But, I do have an exception, I hate Jethro Tull. I let Uncle Teds stuff slide, ain’t cause I like his music.

I have HBO, so I’ll DVR the thing, only to FF to see the memorial section and to see if the do a tribute to Neil Peart.

One of the comments said , it’s the music HOF – he’s right – I am not surprised , but I am disgusted they didn’t get in – it might not be credible , buts it’s all their is until Eddie trunk can get the backing to start the real rock hall of fame- obviously priest should be in – also just a question… why is Faulkner speaking for priest ? Why not Halford … very weird , I’m starting to be annoyed by him –

I am not a fan at all of Pink Floyd. If Pink Floyd music had any balls at all it would sound like Tool. Tool is Pink Floyd with balls.
