As confirmed by management, legendary rock guitarist Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, Red Dragon Cartel) was shot multiple times early this morning in a Las Vegas, NV street shooting. Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital. He is expected to fully recover.
Las Vegas authorities believe the shooting was completely random and occurred while Lee took his dog out for a walk in the early morning hours. As the incident is under police investigation, no further comments will be forthcoming. Lee and his family appreciate respecting their privacy at this time.

I wish you a very speedy recovery, Jake. You’re awesome and we all love you!
Agreed, prayers for, Jake, for a complete, and speedy, recovery.
The world can be such a disgusting, and cruel, place.
I hate learning of irresponsible actions taken by those pulling the triggers. I hope law enforcement finds the trigger person and justice is served. One NEVER fires a weapon where it endangers others.
Jake, hoping for your speedy recovery.
Rattle,
Clearly, this was most likely, not a responsible, law abiding gun owner. This was most likely a criminal, big difference in morality and ethics.
Hi Dana, yes, I agree with you that it was most likely a criminal. But it’s the actions of these criminals that fuel the calls for stricter gun control. These criminals make it very difficult for law abiding gun owners to buy and/or own guns…and their dangerous actions hurt/kill innocent people and it really pisses me off. Good thing Jake is expected to make a full recovery.
Walking his dog and getting shot?? Just unbelievable how a harmless, innocent, enjoyable activity almost cost Jake his life.
Rattle,
I completely agree, and the politicians look to blame the actual weapon, as opposed to the individual. If they imposed stricter, non-negotiable sentences, for those caught using illegal firearms in crimes, or those selling them, this would cull a lot of this brazen behavior.
The criminals know, that in many states, they will get light punishments, so what is the incentive to behave? It only emboldens bad behavior.
I hope Jake has a quick, and complete recovery, and that the animal who did this to him, gets a proper sentence.
Speedy recovery to you Jake. When you heal up, how about another Red Dragon Cartel record buddy?
As reported on Trunk Nation, Jake had gotten a second opinion on his hand issues and was seeking alternative treatment. I believe he had told Eddie was interested in subsequently getting back out with Red Dragon Cartel, assuming this treatment successful. I’m sure the nature of this gunshot(s) may directly impact that plan, but first and foremost, we know health is the #1 concern at the moment.
Godspeed, Jake!
