Original KISS drummer Peter Criss joined frontman Rob Zombie on stage last night (Saturday, May 10th) at 93.3 WMMR MMR*B*Q 2014 at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey to perform a cover of the KISS classic God Of Thunder.
According to blabbermouth.net, Zombie introduced Criss by telling the audience: “Ladies and gentlemen, if you are anything like me, you were very disappointed a little while ago, because I tuned into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, and I did not get to see my favorite drummer get behind the motherfucking drums. So tonight, it is our great honor to bring to you the one and only Catman, Mr. Peter Criss.” Watch fan filmed footage below.
Rob Zombie has just completed a short 12-stop tour and will next head over to Europe for a run of festival dates beginning with the Sweden Rock Festival on June 5th.
Zombie is promoting the upcoming release of his first-ever concert Blu-ray/DVD, The Zombie Horror Picture Show, which will be released on May 19th.

Great live video of Peter, no surprises, nothing fancy, just solid. Not too shabby for a guy approaching 70. We love you Pete!
The guy from Spirit was about 80 kicking ass. We won’t talk about Hal Blaine at 85 reading charts doin fills he did in ’65. Peter needs triggers and stamina, one he can get. Why do you think Paul got Singer in the cat gear.
Peter Criss still has it. Watch again…and watch closely. His fills were tight and right on the money. It was the other drummer that was out of time and out of synch. Peter Criss has class and still maintains the spirit and the vibe of classic KISS. Ace does too…to a certain extent. Gene and Paul lost the spirit and vibe after the Farewell Tour and never got it back. Gene and Paul are capitalizing on duplicating and recreating a sound and an era that has past them buy so long ago they’ve forgotten what it looks like. Ace is going to put out his Space Invader album in June and Peter will put out his solo album with John 5 later this year or early next year, and their albums will blow Sonic Boom and Monster out of the fucking water….mark my words!!!
And yes, we shall forget about who fucked up the tempo of the song at the beginning. Couldnt have been Georgie Crisscoula.
Fanboys are so funeee!!
Send in the clowns…..
Has no one seen the video of Peter playing both solo and with another drummer at Eddie’s 30th Anniversary show? He’s good either way. Actually, Ginger Fish screwed up, because he doesn’t know the song. Peter Criss played that song a zillion times, and knows it by heart. If Ginger had not been playing, there would not have been any out-of-sync drumming or fills. But you can hear time being kept by PC doing the hi-hat paaterns, not ginger. He’s in time.
Oops, tooo many aaa’s in “pattern”!
